Maui Ecstatic Dance

I offer these frequencies as a vehicle to activate the sacred blueprint and divine structures of the energetic body. This music is a living transmission—an offering from the plants, carried with reverence and permission.

I do not claim ownership of these songs or their lineage. They come through with reverence and permission—emerging from years of deep apprenticeship, isolation diets, and ongoing collaboration with Shipibo maestros and elders in the Amazon. I was given the Shipibo name Soi Nihue, meaning “a gentle and beautiful breeze,” to carry the medicine with humility and grace.

This song is here for anyone who feels the call—whether or not you’ve sat with these medicines directly. It can serve as a doorway for those without access and as a tool for integration for those returning from ceremony. A way to reconnect with the thread, to remember the place the plants brought you to when the world begins to make you forget.

Please listen on a system with a subwoofer or in a car (not driving) for the low frequencies to reach the crystalline structures of your fascia and connective tissue. If you’re on a phone, turn it sideways and hold it a few inches from your nose so the sound wraps around you.

This is strong and subtle medicine.

May it meet you where you are and guide you back to the center.

Jordi Wood is a performer, healer composer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work bridges technical precision with ceremonial depth. Their music blends classical and jazz training with years of immersive apprenticeship in Amazonian plant medicine traditions, including formal initiation into the Shipibo lineage.

Through long periods of isolation and master plant dieta, Jordi developed a unique sonic language—using overtone singing, trance rhythms, and intuitive vocal transmissions to diagnose and guide energetic healing. Their work functions not just as music, but as ritual, remedy, and invitation into altered states and embodied presence.

Jordi creates for a range of contexts including film, immersive installations, sacred performance, breathwork, and psychedelic integration. Their latest release, SALUD, is a sonic invocation born from dieta—crafted to guide the breath, body, and spirit through a ritual arc.

They are also a co-steward of a healing retreat space in the Peruvian Amazon in collaboration with the Shipibo family who guided their apprenticeship.
