Nomadum "Sam The Nowhere Man" 2013

A rare alternate version of “Родина моя”, performed by Sofia Rotaru with Chervona Ruta and recorded in 1978, a year earlier another version of the song was released at Rotaru’s LP of 1979. Unlike the orchestral studio release, this version features a folk-funk arrangement with live vocals and rhythm section thanks to involvement of Chervona Ruta band.  Restored from mono archival audio using Logic Pro and iZotope tools.
Non-commercial archival restoration.
This version is unique, vibrant, and emotionally rich — and restoration lets all of that shine. It's a compelling contrast to the official version, and an essential addition to any Sofia Rotaru’s fan collection.
