Group Modular breaks the 3-year silence and launches a new series of 7inch releases, powered by Confused Machines and Delights labels. The first title features two familiar tunes, previously available only on short-run (and immediately sold-out) lathe-cut 45s.

"The Tunnel", taken from the 2021 Norman Records' 25th Anniversary split release by Polytechnic Youth, was the duo's first recording since finishing their sophomore album "Time Masters". With its repetitive patterns and slow hypnotic build-up, the track hints at the territory, further explored on Group Modular's Delights double-sider "Per Aspera Ad Astra" a year later.

"Lonely Pylon" was recorded exclusively for the third instalment in Russian Library's "L series" of split 7'' EP's, exploring themes of nature. It finds Mule Driver and Markey Funk departing from the drum-centric sound towards atmospheric soundscapes and hypnagogic patterns. While 2022's "Per Aspera Ad Astra" wrapped a decade of space exploration, "Lonely Pylon" finds the duo discovering the otherworldly in the day-to-day life back on Planet Earth.

On loan from a private collection, this ultra-rare acetate captures Theremin Theo—the enigmatic air-composer of the Atomic Age—conducting his orchestra through a track that shouldn’t exist. 

"Radio Discothèque" predates the electronic disco genre by more than two decades, yet its shimmering beat patterns point unmistakably toward the dance-floor future. 

Visitors are encouraged to imagine a world where synth-pop seeds were planted under art deco lights and Cold War antennas.

So, step closer to the projection wall and you’ll see the only known surviving photograph of Theo mid-performance, hands suspended within the electromagnetic field.

Scholars still debate whether he intended the piece as satire, prophecy, or pure sonic experimentation. What’s certain is that this recording offers a rare glimpse into a parallel musical timeline—one where disco’s pulse was first summoned not by a drum machine, but by a man shaping invisible currents in the air.

DJ & Producer Recep SENCAN has been producing and hosting Jazz Turbulence of 95.0  Acik Radio Istanbul since 2005. 
Mixing Jazz and their sub- genres jazz-funk, soul-jazz, afrobeat, acid jazz, electronic jazz, latin,  dancefloor jazz etc in his programme, Recep has also been playing at several Istanbul clubs since 2007.

Darkwave and electro-industrial DJ based in SoCal, DJ Mysti Tonik began spinning underground raves during her formative college years. From beat-driven electronic and techno, she expanded into spinning gothic, darkwave and new wave sets at venues such as Cat Club, DNA Lounge and venues throughout the West Coast and beyond. Tonik has a diversity of experience in inciting dancefloors from club, show, to special events for over a decade and also plies knowledge of synth and beat composition as singer-songwriter of dark electronic project Noctronyx.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is an intimate collection of artists exploring a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave, and Experimental World Pop. Collectively, this is known as QUIRKPOP — music that pushes the creative limits of traditional pop.

Expect an unpredictable journey through sound, emotion, and humor, where genres collide and pop bends in strange new ways. Each song is conceived, composed, and performed with total sincerity, whether it’s built from voices, instruments, software, or hybrid experimentation. The focus is on the music itself: if it resonates, it resonates. No explanation required.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
