Pescador de Estrelas (Reggae Indie)

As I've been working on remixing and remastering the first Zenlike Creature album, I decided to revisit the second album, too. Oddly, the second album was actually written before the first (during Covid lockdown) and I'd always had plans for it to be recorded in a studio using fellow musician friends to record various parts. Sadly, this never came to pass and time has moved on.

So, here I am, tidying up the mixes, a bit of instrument replacement here and there, and remastering. Hope you enjoy!

Initially, this was a road trip theme but I decided to make it a character portrait for my "Shards of Earth" project.  Kris is  a legal expert and crew member on the Vulture God, she's also something of a femme fatale.  
The acoustic guitar is a Takamine and the lead guitar is a Duesenberg Paloma.

The sound of Lord Pendragon emerges from a fusion between the power of alternative rock and the conceptual sensitivity of contemporary art.
Their main influences include David Bowie, Depeche Mode, A Perfect Circle, Duran Duran, Queens of the Stone Age, Pulp, St. Vincent, and Iggy Pop — artists who have also explored the creation of characters and visual worlds to expand their musical narrative.
The band stands out for its use of dense, powerful atmospheres where synthesizers, orchestral textures, and emblematic guitar solos coexist.
Their lyrics invite personal interpretation, transforming introspection into movement.
The artistic universe of Lord Pendragon draws inspiration from brutalism, modernism, and abstract art, as well as from Kafkaesque literature.

I've been on Soundcloud for several years now and it's been great exploring the work of other artists.  There is so much generosity of spirit on this platform, it's just what you need when most of your music is made solo. 

I started out playing classical and Spanish guitar, then took up flamenco to ease myself away from the confines of musical notation. As a result, Latin rhythms often creep into my music. 

A friend introduced me to steel string and electric guitars just a few years ago and I still find the scope they bring dizzying... but what fun!

I believe music, like any form of art, can become a bridge between consciousnesses — a space for sharing and growth.
I don’t believe in merchant art: art made to chase money or feed illusory achievements of the ego, art that needs to be sold or distributed like any other commodity just to “exist.”
I don’t believe in imitative art, nor in the myths and brands that come with it.
I see the artist as a medium, not a myth to be placed on a pedestal, and I believe it would be better to bring the artist back down and lift the listeners up — something the ancient Greeks understood very well.
I don’t hand my creativity over to “AI,” just as I would never discuss philosophy with a van, nor let a boiler explain love to me.

Zenlike Creature was initially set up as a side-project, born out of a love of the psychedelic music scene.

It could be said that this project is almost 30 years in the making since that wonderful summer of 93 and that first listen of the Ozric Tentacles 'Live Underslunky' album - it certainly opened more than just eyes! 

Since then it's been a continual music adventure hunting down bands and artists of similar style and genre. Whilst not always fruitful, there is a selection of bands/artists who have helped shape and influence Zenlike Creature and this work would not have happened without them: Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Shpongle, Steve Hillage, Eat Static, Hallucinogen, Pink Floyd, and Hawkwind. 

The bands/artists above have taken us on some fantastic musical journeys and adventures and Zenlike Creature hopes to take you on some similar journeys too.

It’s not just a label — it’s a living signal. A constellation of songs, poems, and visions beamed from the heart of the Rockies into every corner of the cloud.

This SoundCloud page is a crossroads — a place for wanderers and one-offs, sonic sketches and stray transmissions. Here drift fragments of the greater work: folk and funk, dream and data, dub and dawnlight. Every sound is part of a larger conversation — between art and accident, code and spirit, love and the long road home.

Founded by artist-producer Michael Lemmer, AMOR*LEBEN*TODO carries a simple mission: to keep the signal alive. The music, the words, the images — all vibrate from the same pulse. A celebration of life, love, and the strange electric hum that connects it all.

Tune in, drift wide, and listen closely.
Every track is a little transmission from the in-between.

Boaz Goldberg aka ZICO (1974) is a documentary filmmaker, musician and an interdisciplinary artist. He worked as a music journalist for more than a decade ("Zman Tel Aviv", "City Mouse", "The City", "Israel Today") and meticulously covered the alternative music scene in Israel. Goldberg later had several editing and directing jobs in many television programs. He also dabbled in painting, photography and recording music.

In the 90’s, he was the first Rock-N-Roll & Mod DJ in Israel, and played bass for the Tel Avivian Punk-Britpop band Cnaque/Pop. In 2000, he had a brief collaboration with the now legendary Charlie Megira (Gabi Abudraham). Together they formed Les Lost Boys (Naarey Ha-Hefker). They recorded Megira’s hit, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”, and worked on the song “Pink World”, which is revisioned in ZICO's album, HEADLESS ELVIS.

Goldberg later joined 80’s Israeli Rock-journalist godfather, Kobi Or, for a noise-drone duo called NEMEK, and then formed the short-lived experimental concrete duo Nail and Flashlights (MVP). All of this led him into the world of documentary filmmaking. “Tomorrow's Gone”, a full-feature about the life and death of Charlie Megira, is his debut documentary. “HEADLESS ELVIS” is his debut album.
