This week on Typology, I sat down with the brilliant and buoyant Margaret Feinberg—author, teacher, and Enneagram 7 with an 8 wing. We talked about her new book, The God You Need to Know, and what it means to experience the Holy Spirit’s presence—not just in the highs of life, but in the valleys too. Margaret opened up about facing surgery just before her book launch, navigating the exhaustion that comes with being “on” all the time, and how her joy had to be redefined in the midst of cancer. Elan and Lori Ohlson have co-facilitated many Enneagram classes/workshops, most of them in the narrative tradition. Просто не могли упустить этот топик, раз уж заговорили о конференциях. Куда без этого: мы и сами не так давно пережили опыт выступлений на разных сценах, и кое-в-чём определенно прозрели на будущее, — а кое-в-чем нам ещё только предстоит разобраться внутри этого выпуска. Получилось бодро, насыщенно и обо всём, что стоит предусмотреть, когда готовишься к выступлению на конференции.

Поговорили про то, как вообще становятся спикерами и как выбрать тему, когда в голове мартышки в тарелки беспечно лупасят; еще про то, как за пять минут до выступления не сорвать с себя бейдж и не умчать в закат, перепуганно гомоня; а еще — как после выступления не превратиться в тыкву, строго-положительно осмыслить произошедшее и вернуться сильнее (ауф).
