This has to be my favourite set yet, and for sure broken records as the set I've spent the most time working on to date.  The passion and enjoyment of the journey pre-stage-delivery continues to grow, and I must say, I absolutely love the process from beginning to end <3

Delivering this set at Yatra Festival (NZ) in a prime-time slot of 10pm Sunday was an honour, and am super grateful for the opportunity.  The set was met with an electrifying dancefloor that I won't forget in a hurry, and am humbled by the extent of feedback I received both during and after for those who shook their booties on the dancefloor. Spinal Fusion & Earthspace - Stargazer | OUT NOW on Profound Recs !

Oh boy, where to begin with describing this beauty...

So this set is something I've been working on in the background since after Yatra Festival (end of Feb), and slowly bubbling away in the background.  I played prior versions of it at two events, and have slowly refined it in the background bit by bit, month after month.  

With an indoor gig coming my way mid curation, I put this set to the side a while, banged that one out, and then came back to continue refining this beauty, which I'm so f&*king stoked with how it came out in the end.  So much love and passion went in that I'm confident you'll enjoy the journey.

The Sets Story:

So this set is my first 2hr set, which I feel will be my new norm.  Having more time, and as my DJ journey continues, more tracks to play with, imagine a painter having a bigger canvas, and more colours.  That's what I felt I was able to represent in this set.

As a creator, it's a representation of my time over the last few months where there's been some enjoyable high's, as well as some steep, challenging lows that my wife and I navigate through in life.

In a nutshell, from an energetic lens, this set could be shaped in a V...where from left to right, it starts high, dips deeper, hits it's deepest/darkest point, and then makes its way back up toward the light.  A fantastic tale of consistent change / evolution, challenge, and return out the other side stronger and more driven.

Things start strong, fun, and on the deeper side of uplifting full-on.  Thereafter, we work our way lower and darker (my lighter version of dark) quite quickly, till we bottom out turning things around just before the halfway point.  Thereafter, the climb starts, and we slowly weave our melodic way out from the depths higher and higher, with some absolute powerhouse tracks.

Things continue to climb and climb thereafter, and peak energy hits about 15mins before the end.  

Last 15 mins things dip down again, and end up weaving the darkness with the light, to balance things out in the end.

A journey or fun and Expansion, down into Contraction during difficult times, turned around by a scream to release some pressure, and then back into Expansion mode to eventually find a balance between the two.

Meet Bevan, aka SHaManiK_BunnY, a multi-disciplined musician and no stranger to the stage from an early age. 

Having found true passion through emersing himself in psytrance from the early age of 12, he since grew up in Cape Town, South Africa's psy-haven with a thriving outdoor scene where he immersed himself in local festivals for over 8 years.

Bevan has a wealth of indoor and outdoor experience, further developed when he was inspired to travel the globe and attend some of the psy-calendar's most prestigious events, all of which he's managed to curate into a unique and energetic delivery of multi-dimensional vibrations.

Upon having moved to New Zealand and taking to the DJ decks, his genre of choice naturally gravitated towards an events pinnacle of heart-filled energetic vibes, Uplifting Full-On...but with a difference.

Like his DJ name suggests, Bevan's managed to carve his own unique melodic niche that separates out his sound, by creating an infused sweet-spot that blends a balance between his SHaManiK-side, and his BunnY-side.  

The shaman in him showcases a passion for the deep tribal, borderline primal melodies and bass that tickle the boundaries of dark-psy, whilst keeping things energetically elevated.  Couple that with the fluffy bunny side of some goa-inspired flowing melodies and ecstatic energetic peaks, he plays with two sub-genre's to cultivate something enthrallingly electric, that you can't help but get lost in.

Spinal Fusion, musician of Indian origin, sound engineer, started to produce music at the age of seventeen. Always had an ear for music and sounds since the age of 10 which literally excited him! Sergio Iván Sánchez Morales A.k.a Mechanick Toy originario de la Ciudad de México, tiene su primer contacto con la música electrónica a la edad de 17 años escuchando Psy-Trance y Full On Trance. 4 años después (Marzo 2012) decide entrar a la escena musical tocando Techno, Tech House, y Minimal.

Un año después al Psytrance, Full On, Psychedelic, tocando en fiestas locales del CDMX y para el 2013 en el Estado de México, en compañía de Christian Cornejo A.k.a Roqeet, Manager Melodic Minds, que después se uniría a una gran familia… Tkdsks Musik Tampico, haciendo colaboraciones con Vaykuntha Dance Label. 

Su carrera musical ha sido destacada por su estilo de saltar de un género a otro en un mismo DjSet, desde Progressive Trance, Full On, Psytrance, Psychedelic, Twilight y Hi-Tech llevándolo a unirse a Maniatic Dream Label.

En 2014 hace convocatoria para unirse y formar parte de un nuevo sello discográfico: Saraswati Records, perteneciente al norte del estado de México (Cuatitlan Izcalli) como Dj set de Full On, Progressive Trance y Psytrance.

Apartir de 2016 sus DjSets se concentran en el Psychedelic Trance y el Twilight haciendo un balance armónico entre estos 2 géneros con poderosos beats y atmósferas hipnotizantes, haciendo bailar a más de uno.

Spinal Fusion is the stage name of Bilas Rajderkar, a psytrance artist, producer, and sound engineer hailing from India. Bilas discovered his passion for music at a young age and began experimenting with electronic sounds when he was just 17 years old.

Founder of Profound Records in 2012, he continues to produce and release music under the label. Collaborations with well-known artists such as Sonic Species, Ajja, Killerwatts, Mad Maxx, Avalon, Outsiders, Hypnocoustics & Spectra Sonics he has certainly made a name for himself in the international psytrance scene. 

Having performed at major festivals around the globe i.e. Boom Festival, Ozora Festival, Mandallah Festival, Flor Da Vida Festival, Terratronic Festival, E trip Festival, Soulvision Festival, Shambhala Festival, Respect Festival, Progressive Festival by DM7, Elementare Festival, The Experience Festival, Freq’s of nature Festival, Hilltop Festival, Shankra Festival, F.L.O.W Festival, S.U.N Festival, Blackmoon Festival, Antaris Project, Infected Guitars, Respect Arte e Cultura, are some festivals he has been invited to perform, which is a clear testament to Spinal Fusion's talent and the quality of his music. It's also worth noting that he has performed at various events in his home country of India, which is a vibrant and growing market for psytrance music. 

By participating in these events, Spinal Fusion is helping to promote and develop the scene in India and bring greater recognition to the country's talented psytrance artists and producers. Give_Way is the full-power psychedelic trance project engineered by Max Quinn, based in the mountains of Far North Queensland, Australia. Drawing deep influence from his roots in heavy metal and hardcore, Max crafts a driving, psychedelic, adrenaline-fueled  journey that spans the vast neural network of the extraterrestrial psyche. 

Dedicated to the dancefloor since inception in 2013, Give_Way has become a pillar in the Far North Queensland festival scene, consistently navigating dancefloors at events such as NYX Festival, Zero dB Festival, Orin-Aya Festival & Collaborations Festival, along with interstate bookings such as Omega Festival (NSW), Aetheria Festival  (NT) and the cancelled Esoteric 2025 (VIC).

 Max has had the honor of sharing the stage with global psytrance masters like  Aardvarkk, Captain Hook, Imaginarium, Liquid Soul, Mental Broadcast, Pixel, Rinkadink & Scorb to name a few.

Driving basslines, ethereal melodies, intricate percussion, and seamless transitions come together to construct  a high-energy, immersive experience, designed to transport users across expansive and colourful soundscapes. Chronosphere is a new psytrance project created by Nazar Iogkanson a.k.a Waveform.After years of production of electronic music Nazar decided that he needed more complex psychedelic sounds and the project was born,now as a member of Digital Om productions he released many solo tracks and collaborations with many artists like Hypatia,Djantrix,Braincell,E-Mov,Starlab and many more,get ready for twisted melodic and groovy psychedelic experience.

Attika (Divinity Records) is a Hungarian Psytrance performer with over 20 years behind the decks in several genres. 
With a mission is to deliver the trance melodies and powerful beats for every psychedelic lovers.
Attika is known from many events and festivals and he's running Octopus Trance Radio since 2016. He's also a member of the Hungarian duo Terra Mission.

Natascha é o resultado de todas as suas vivências dentro e fora das festas. Colecionadora de músicas, festivais, pistas e experiências.
