Bad Tango is the electronic music project of UK based producer Will Railton.

Will was first established in the Psychedelic Breakbeat & Tech-Funk genres following his debut release in January 2011. After topping download charts with a string of successful releases on a variety of labels, he was quickly scooped up by forward thinking UK label Broken Robot, where he continued to help pioneer the Psy Breaks genre alongside the likes of Hedflux and ex-Far Too Loud member, Neurodriver.

In October 2018, following two International Breakbeat Award nominations, a long track record of global bookings and a multitude of auspicious EP’s, remixes and collaborations, Will released his first full length studio album ‘ILK’. A self released album, ‘ILK’ reached the top of the Bandcamp download charts over multiple categories in a matter of days and redefined the Bad Tango project as a hub of multi genre experimentation.

With support from globally renowned artists such as Gaudi, Headroom, Grouch, Kaya Project, OOOD, Globular, Slack Baba, Kuba and many more, Will has firmly entrenched himself within todays underground electronic music culture.

Raving Dave’s journey into electronic music began in 1985, when he first discovered the pulse of House through iconic Deep Heat compilations and an ever-growing collection of 12" vinyl. By the age of 18, he was fully immersed in the UK rave scene—where his passion for mixing took flight. Handing out homemade tapes at Boy Racer clubs, Dave quickly built a loyal following and earned the nickname that stuck: Raving Dave.
Though he retired his dancing shoes at 40, his creative fire never dimmed. Today, Dave continues to experiment, mix, and evolve—blending decades of musical influence into fresh, high-energy sets that pay homage to the roots of rave while pushing boundaries.

I managed Vinyl Frontier Records in Woking,  Surrey for the best part of a decade..... living, breathing,  loving and sharing repetitive beats.   I have been fortunate enough to grace the platters at lots of different clubs,  events and festivals up and down the country and Europe.  I co ran the legendary night "Shuffle" (which may come back one day).  I won the coveted "bedroom bedlam" mixtape award for Muzik magazine, residencies at the Cross, The Pool , Piranah's and 333 in London and was awarded the Percy Thrower Lifetime achievement award for services to the green plant.  I have played at Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Kimberley, Orchard amongst  many others and more recenly a regular fixture at the Give ! festival for House of Honey.   These day's I can be found deep in stock pots working culinary magic for all kinds of people,  however you may still catch me behind the platters (that matter) as much as I can.  I love music with a captivating groove, a glowing warmth,  sincerity and emotion however it comes and still relish the opportunity to share my sounds manually through the medium we know as Vinyl.  As long as it's available I will continue to support it,  everything about it just works and I believe it helps strengthen our beloved scene.
