Call Waiting

Spitfire Audio issued a challenge to its users: make a cover of a theme track to your favourite film using only Spitfire Audio libraries. This composition is my response.

Mike Nichols' 1967 film "The Graduate", starring Dustin Hoffman and Ann Bancroft, used a number of tracks by Simon & Garfunkel - amongst which was "Scarborough Fair", which helped propel them into musical fame. This traditional English folk song has been arranged in many ways, but possibly none like this. Folk purists will be ripping their cardigans, I'm sure.... :)

“Einen Augenblick noch....” 

Ein kurzer Augenblick noch vor dem Abschied. Eine Umarmung, ein zarter Kuss, ein tiefer Blick in die Augen beider Liebenden.

Bitte halt mich noch bevor Du gehst. Einen Augenblick.  
Diesen zarten aber durchaus fordernden Moment habe ich versucht mit diesem kleinen Cellostück akustisch in ein Klanggemälde zu verwandeln. 

Jeder von uns kennt diesen einen Augenblick.

“Just a moment”

A short moment before saying goodbye. A hug, a tender kiss, a deep look into the eyes of both lovers.

Please hold me before you go. Just a moment.
With this small cello piece, I tried to transform this tender but quite demanding moment acoustically into a sound painting.

Each of us knows this one moment.

I make experimental pop music and music for film and other media. Get in touch. I'm also in a band called Midnight Garden.

Willkommen in meiner Welt  ( Wolke ) der Musik.

Von Anbeginn meiner Zeit fühle und denke in Musik. 
Das ist es. 
Ich finde meine hier veröffentlichten Kompositionen vermitteln das.  
Obwohl ich etwas Klavierunterricht hatte komponiere ich autodidaktisch, völlig frei im Moment.  
Nicht immer sind es gefällige Harmonien. Versucht meine Musik einfach unvoreingenommen und völlig wertfrei von Euren Hörgewohnheiten zu hören.

Folgt gerne meiner Klangwelt. 
Freue mich über meinen Musik-Account auf einen regen, kreativen inspirierenden Gedankenaustausch.

Although I had some piano lessons, I compose self-taught, completely free at the moment.
