this is one of those tracks that quickly got to the main themes... and then had to come back to it 3 times over 4 years to move it on and get it close to something like being finished.

far, far too many ideas going on in one track.  probably either my calling card or biggest weakness hahaha.  one day, when I'm long gone like the mexican skeleton graffiti in the cover art ... people might find the logic files for all my tracks and distill out 2-3 x the number of individual pieces vs. my cut 'n paste smash-it-together for aural overload!!

we've got male (english and in french) and female vocals, rapping, spoken word diaogue from some gangster movie and there's vocoders in there coming straight out of the ELO playbook.  (rather than say Daft Punk, 2Pac or Zapp, for example!).  with about 4 different drum beat, multiple synths and basses.  Hat and Dress is certainly not for lovers of minimal / anorexic techno.

Expose 2 by mastering the mix tells me that the mix is good. I'm still not convinced though.  But after nearly 5 years since starting this, it's to let it fly.... hoping it's too weighed down with experimentation.  hahaha.
