Groomsman is Steven Thorn's debut album. It is a coming of age record about his 20s, when he was a groomsman 9 times. The cinematic soundscapes range across wedding processionals, downtown carriage rides, NYC dance clubs, therapy sessions, graduations, church pews, roller skating rinks, and wedding receptions.

Notable album influences include Arcade Fire's The Suburbs, Coldplay's X&Y, Death Cab for Cutie's Plans, and M83's Hurry Up, We're Dreaming.

As a fixture in NYC’s DJ scene, DJ Killzz captivates audiences with his seamless transitions and unique blends of vibrant sounds from the African diaspora, keeping you dancing all night long.

From a young age, the Brooklyn-born Queens native of Trinidadian descent was profoundly influenced by music. He began playing the piano at the age of nine and later joined the local community church’s drum corps during his teenage years. However, it was in college that he truly discovered his passion for DJing.

DJ Killzz, a versatile performer, has graced the stages of various events since 2011. His performances range from intimate weddings and parties to artist performances, conventions, and concerts. He has collaborated with esteemed corporate clients such as AnimeNYC, Bandai-Namco, VICE, and Wray & Nephew, showcasing his talent and versatility in different settings.

Spinning everything from Hip-Hop to House, Dancehall to Dembow, Bouyon, and beyond; with well over a decade of experience under his belt, DJ Killzz is the go-to for any event looking for high energy and unforgettable vibes.
