Wonderland

"Trust No Man" by Dr. Lach is a gritty, hard-hitting rock song in the style of Steppenwolf, blending bluesy swagger with a raw, rebellious edge. The song tells the story of a doctor who is loved by his patients but lives with a deep unease when they tell him, "I trust you completely." He knows all too well that love and admiration can quickly turn to hate and blame, and he would rather people trust their own family—or to be on the safe side, trust no man at all.

With thunderous guitar riffs, a pounding rhythm section, and smoky, world-weary vocals, the song carries a sense of cynicism, wisdom, and reluctant responsibility. The lyrics explore themes of doubt, expectation, and the burden of trust, culminating in a powerful, anthemic chorus that warns against blind faith.

Hi everyone! My dad is currently in the hospital recovering from Surgery so thought i would make a mix dedicated to my dad and his speedy recovery by making a hour long mix of songs that he loves! I love my dad and miss him, been a while since iv seen him, but hopefully ill get to talk to him through facetime soon and see how hes feeling, for now im gonna rock out to this mix and hopefully he will be able to enjoy it himself i hope :-) so here it is! Singer/songwriter/guitarist making alt-folk, baroque psychedelia & art rock. Neurodivergent, optimist, anarchist, avid gardener, former graphic designer & aspiring sound engineer. 

Combining 60s psychedelia, alternative folk, art rock, baroque pop and gothic post-punk, The Mad Pride has been described as haunting & ominous like a Tim Burton film soundtrack made by Syd Barrett & David Bowie. Reviewers have made comparisons to Radiohead, Midlake, Meat Puppets, David Sylvian, Erik Satie, Frank Zappa, Nick Cave & even Leonard Cohen. 

The Mad Pride is a reference to the movement “MAD PRIDE” which aims to increase awareness about neurodiversity, the mental healthcare system, psychiatric survivors and the rampant epidemic of ableist abuse targeting vulnerable people.

It began as a fun idea to make demo recordings of my original songs in case I forgot them. Slowly it transformed into a solo home recording project with no agenda, no limits, and no reason to give up hoping for a revolution of love.

My first 4 albums are free to download on Soundcloud. I’m currently finishing my 5th album, an endeavour which was delayed for over a decade while the rental crisis vanquished the physical spaces I would have used to write and record. Fortunately, I’m now back in my happy place - A happy place built out of anxiety, trauma and hopes for positive cultural change. It’s like a messed up “Koom by yah” accompanied by a wood-chipper and a sad clown with a kazoo.

The Busketeers are a band like no other, known for their raw energy and diverse shows. Comprised of four talented musicians who are all singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, they captivate audiences with their ability to harmonise and seamlessly swap instruments while delivering a unique sound that blends genres from all over the musical spectrum. Their passion for music is evident in every note they play.

The Busketeers originally formed on the streets of Plymouth, Devon, UK, where they quickly gained a reputation for their diverse performances and impressive musical skills. The band consists of Kendall Williams, Luke Engel (part of the band Wild Fenn), Matthew Gordon Price, and Olly Parker. Each member brings their own unique style and influences to the group, resulting in a sound that is both eclectic and cohesive.

Despite their success as a street band, The Busketeers quickly gained a following and began playing at local venues, eventually building a fan base that extended beyond their hometown. Their reputation as a must-see live act grew, and they were soon playing at festivals and venues across the country.

The Busketeers are set to release their album, "The Busketeers," in 2023. The album will showcase the band's impressive range of musical styles and their ability to seamlessly blend them together. From folk to rock to pop, "The Busketeers" is a testament to the bands musical prowess and dedication to their craft.

Since then, The Busketeers have continued to tour and release new music, building a loyal fan base along the way. They have played at some of the UK's biggest music festivals and stages, including Boardmasters, Plymouth Pavilions, Tunes In The Dunes, Leopallooza, Rock Oyster, Tunes In The Park, Rattler Fest, Little Orchard Festival and many more.

As a physician, I am drawn to the ways people endure, adapt, and heal. As a writer, I focus on human relationships, family, vulnerability, and the small moments that shape us. As a composer, I create music meant to accompany rather than dominate—music that can sit beside thought, rest, or reflection.

These pieces are not designed for performance or spectacle.
They are meant to keep company.
