Hi everyone, we're back with another episode. I do have to apologise, this week's episode is slightly marred by an unfortunate audio issue but we have decided to put it out anyway since we only realised after we'd recorded the whole thing. We'd rather put it out there, with it being some content rather than nothing. Next week we hope to have the issue fixed however.
The main topic for the episode, is a part 1 of a BIG discussion on the legendary Doctor Who! With both of us being such huge fans of the show, and having grown up watching it, it's something that really is close to our hearts. This part one covers the entirety of Russell T Davies' initial run, when the show was revived in the mid 2000s.

One of the worst kept secrets in Doctor Who has finally been revealed - Steven Moffat is back on Doctor Who.
The former showrunner's written a script for Ncuti Gatwa's first season as the Doctor, maintaining a run which will see him having written for every Doctor since the show's return, bar Jodie (plus also the First, Fifth and Eighth Doctors, and also the Seventh in Decalog form!).
Kenny and Tom discuss the return, and look at some tweets from fans giving their views on the news.

The Scottish former showrunner obviously doesn't bear a grudge, since Russell T Davies turned him down when he was asked to come back to the show, and he was back with episode three in series 14/40/one - Boom.
Dave, John, Steevie and Kenny share their thoughts on this potentially explosive storyline.

235: Boom

Here comes the...Boom is this week's episode and sees the return of showrunner Steven Moffat to write for the RTD2 era (aka: Third Wave Who...let's get that trending). And it's a tight, tense episode with one interesting surprise that we'll learn more about later. It's no a perfect episode, by any means, but we enjoyed it a good bit!

The NOTLG site is still experiencing issues, unfortunately, so there's not much hope for the show notes at the moment.
