Jens Brachvogel & Tilo Ciesla aka Studio 54, aka Dole & Kom is probably the most productive producer duo of German underground House Music. They did Disco House with heavy 808 & 909 beats in the mid 90s already – long before it stormed the German dance charts. They've remixed legends like Green Velvet, Black Box or Mateo & Matos or even pop heroes like Marc Almond. Their tunes came out on top tier labels like Nervous, Relief Records, Force Tracks and of course local Formaldehyd and BCC Music from Berlin.

Their Studio 54 project started in 1997 and quickly became their most popular moniker. Due to copyright restrictions they had to rename it „Studio 45“, a name they're still using today. On their „Vol. 2“ record in 1997 they were inspired by Disco and Boogie tunes of the 70s and early 80s that indeed were popular at the famous New York night club.

What makes their tunes unique to this day is their hypnotizing, druggy approach to the original tunes. You never get a cheap, commercial copy, you'll get a mesmerizing mind trip back to the glory days of Disco, seasoned with the best classic drum machines got in them.

I revamped this classic masterpiece and gave it a more bass and funk updated version of my own. Theme from Shaft", written and recorded by Isaac Hayes in 1971, is the soul and funk-styled theme song to the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film Shaft.The following year, "Theme from Shaft" won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, with Hayes becoming the first African American to win that honor. In 1999, the 1971 recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

I revamped this song from Madleen Kane's Cheri album ,good song from back in the classic disco days that never had a remix  ,that album gave us Forbidden Love,Cheri, and Secret Love Affair Medley that is a club great for the classic disco days. She is one of our Classic Disco Divas Madleen Kane has filled floors for our classic disco days, not only with her Beautiful Vocals ,but her Gorgeous looks ,I am proud to hold all of her great Classic Music on Vinyl  and We all remember flocking to the floor every time her collection of music was played in the clubs we all remember back in our Classic disco days , I do not mean any disrespect to the original version in this remix ,its just to bring it into the sound of today and for the new sound to our younger generation and showcase the masterpiece artists and music they do not know of ........Cheri , was Kane's 2nd  album which featured "Forbidden Love", a dramatic "pop-opus" arranged by Thor Baldursson. The A-side suite of "Forbidden Love", the title track, its breakdown "Fire In My Heart" and "Secret Love Affair" gave her another club hit, which ran for over 15 minutes. Jim Burgess remixed it for a single, which was edited to just over eight minutes. I do not own the rights to this song ,I remixed it for listening pleasure only Enjoy !!!!!

I tryed to figure out what are the best disco track ever, in order to share it.
I did a 1000+ ranking mainly based on the one already done by discomusic.com website. (now closed)
- A top 700 based on 70's & 80's Disco Djs ranking of this era.
- A top 500 based on discomusic.com member's votes.

I add to these ranking 5 top 100 given by different Gen AI : Chat GPT, Mistral AI, Gemini, Claude & Deep Seek.
I supress the mistakes they have made and create a final ranking.

Now i have a ranking, i start a mix series of these best tracks, and broadcast them on ONIB Disco radio.

I was too young to know of their existence back then but I grew up in a house in which its music was always being played. If I had a disco Time Machine   I would definitely visit these clubs.

Munich Machine  Introducing The Midnite Ladies was a Munich based German disco project under the direction of producer Giorgio Moroder. Madeline Bell, Sue Glover, Sunny Leslie (The Midnite Ladies) were the great vocalists on this Classic Disco Masterpiece, Munich Machine was active from 1976 to 1980. The producers Pete Bellotte, Günther Moll and Gary Unwin as well as the bassist Stefan Wissnet, the guitarist Mats Björklund and the American singer Chris Bennett were also involved.The greatest success is Get on the Funk Train from the album Munich Machine from 1977. I do not own the rights to this song , I remixed it and gave it some more bass and enhanced vocals and sounds  for listening pleasure only, and mean no disrespect to the original masterpiece .....Giorgio Moroder at his best as usual........ Great Floor filler !!!!!!

Pattie Brooks is still Pumping out the hits ...... I remixed this song as my My Tribute to the great Pattie Brooks and to my friend and fellow  Staten Islander..... Anthony Piazza ....who penned this great R&B ballad with and for Pattie Brooks, This is my Dance floor version , We all know this woman for her many talents and her sultry and classy vocals that kept us on the dance floor of those Classic Disco days ... In the mid-1970s Brooks came to the attention of disco producer Simon Soussain, and her solo recording career was born. Her first of four albums on the Casablanca label was 1977's Love Shook (credited as Pattie Brooks & The Simon Orchestra, Brooks remained with Soussain and in 1978 recorded her biggest club hit, "After Dark". It was selected to be part of the soundtrack to the film Thank God It's Friday.  She also sang backing vocals on Donna Summer's album I Remember Yesterday. I do not own the rights to this song ,I remixed it for listening  pleasure only , Enjoy !!!!!!

My story as a DJ began in 1984. Like many others at the time, we played disco, and Barry White was one of the artists who regularly boomed through the speakers. Now, years later, his songs are still played at all kinds of parties. I have now made two remixes myself that capture the atmosphere but still differ somewhat from the original song. A contemporary disco sound without compromising the original from the 70's.

Dj Bart Barocci is one of the top Belgium Dj's whose career started 36 years ago. When he was only 17 he played in the top clubs of Belgium as resident Dj. Bart Barocci stood at the birth of house music in Europe. During the 90's he was resident Dj in one of the best hous clubs off Belgium and Holland (Barocci) and was a regular guest in clubs all over the world. He was well known for his mixing skills and his 15H long dj set's . He is the master combining classic and new sound.

Jorge Branco aka Dj White, iniciou a sua carreira como Dj profissional/residente no inicio da década de 80 embora, ainda em finais dos anos 70, tenha animado inumeras festas de garagem , em plena era "Disco-Sound", pré-New Wave. As "velhinhas" cassetes e o vinil (mais os albúns e os singles que os maxis, estes, ainda pouco comercializados em Portugal) dominavam as cabines dos Djs. Os pratos com pitch eram "mentira", embora lá por fora aparecessem os primeiros modelos do lendário Technics 1200. Por estas alturas, o CD ainda fazia parte da ficção cientifica. 
   *As noites torrejanas de então (77, 78 e 1979), eram lideradas pela discoteca Bobs, casa pequena (cabia integralmente na pista de dança da actual Emotion) mas com muita "alma" e onde decorreram alguns dos melhores concursos de dança da região.  Dj Mafra e Jorge Miguel, eram os Djs de serviço, apresentando ao público torrejano algumas reliquias importadas através de "mão amiga" por Alfredo Serra (o gerente). Foi aqui, bem como no Dom Papagaio de Mira d´Aire (outra casa marcante para toda uma geração), que Dj White tomou conhecimento com as sonridades Disco e Funky que chegavam tanto de Inglaterra como dos USA. Village People, Kool & the Gang, Earth Wind & Fire e Michael Jackson (quando ainda era negro), escutados e dançados em primeira mão. Foi também neste espaço que Jorge Branco deu os seus primeiros passos como Dj (de discoteca), com uma mesa de mistura e dois "pratos" na cabine, mesmo sem o tal pitch.  
  Depois de uma passagem pela já extinta Galáxia (no Entroncamento e verdadeiramente a primeira "coisa" parecida com uma discoteca a sério na região), inaugura a 10 de Junho de 1983, a Discoteca Fame Club em Torres Novas, onde permanece como residente até ao inicio dos Anos 90. Apesar do seu tamanho (era de facto de pequena dimensão, embora não muito mais que outras existentes actualmente na região) tinha uma cabine de luxo para aqueles tempos, apresentando os primeiros Technics SL-1210 Mk2 no distrito de Santarém. Finalmente era possível começar a "misturar" a sério, algo até então impensável.
  Pelo meio (em 1984/85) é também Dj convidado na extinta Pim Pim em Tomar, outra das discotecas marcantes da década de 80 no distrito de Santarém. No inicio dos Anos 90 e após a sua saida da Fame Club, Dj White é convidado para residente no Lagar, na Golegã, onde permanece pouco mais de 1 Ano. Em 1993, inicia uma nova etapa na sua carreira, na lendária Swing no Entroncamento, onde permanece como residente até à data de encerramento desta casa.    Nesta enorme casa (enorme não só pela sua dimensão como também na influência na noite ribatejana), partilhou a cabine com Djs Nacionais de referência, como Dj Vibe, X-Man aka Mário Roque, Dj Jiggy, Luis e Paulo Leite, The Fox, Miguel Simões e muitos outros. 
   Segue-se no mesmo espaço e a abrir o Ano 2000, a KO, casa que pouco mais de 6 meses após a sua abertura sofre um duro revés, com um incidente infeliz, de todos conhecido. Este incidente, acaba por afectar definitivamente o seu futuro, apesar de todo o empenho da sua equipa profissional. 
De saída da  KO, Dj White regressa a Torres Novas, ingressando na Destilaria, onde permanece cerca de 1 Ano. Após esse periodo, em 2001/2002, é também residente em Lisboa, no Cool Café, na antiga Expo. 
  A 27 de Dezembro de 2002, inaugura em Torres Novas, a Discoteca Emotion, onde permanece até à data. 
Ao longo da sua residência na maior discoteca de Torres Novas, tem o prazer de trabalhar com alguns músicos, cantores e Djs de topo mundial como Robin S, Kim Cooper, Jaba, Gary Nesta Pine, Juan Magan, Bodytalk, Hallux, Sebastian Gamboa, Massivedrum, Maddox, Oskar Dj, Tommy Guitar, La Mouche, Nelson Freitas e muitos outros.
   Desde as noites Remember. . . Good Times, com o melhor dos Anos 70, 80 e 90, às noites Latinas, Passagens de Ano e Carnaval, passando pelo House (+ ou - comercial consuante o tipo de público presente), Dj White é um Dj versátil, procurando ir ao encontro dos gostos do grande público, através da experiência e conhecimentos musicais adquiridos ao longo de mais de 3 décadas de carreira.
