BIO:

My passion for music, especially rave stems from a young age. I got my first pair of Numark turntables for my birthday at the age of 13, and I've never looked back! I started mixing Makina, and a little bit of bounce too. I invested in a set of Technics at around the age of 16, and started to take my mixing more seriously, with a lot of practice, and others showing me how to beatmatch properly. At 18 my love for hardcore was reignited, and I started buying hardcore vinyl. With hardcore vinyl pressing in the decline, i took the decision at around 20 to go into the world of digital Dj'ing, and i invested in my first pair of CDJ's. Since then i have upgraded a couple of times, and i now use a pair of Pioneer CDJ 2000's, which i have had for around 7 or 8 years now. I'll try my hand at pretty much any music style, but my main love is for hardcore & makina. Feel free to ask any questions, don't forget to like and share if you listen and enjoy my mixes! Jimmy Vu is a Harder styles DJ/Producer From Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Also known as the 2013 Basszone Hardstyle DJ *Contest winner*. (Was awarded with an opening set on the Mainstage at one of Canada's biggest Hardstyle event) And the 2015 Q-Dance Vancouver Winner (Was awarded with an opening set at The Vogue Theatre to play at the first ever Q-Dance event in Vancouver) . Jimmy Vu also has a Club Residency on Friday Nights at The Finest After Hours Club in Vancouver " Club 816 (Bassment) " . He is a rising talent in the local EDM scene and is always working in the studio. Having played at numerous gigs including : Dances, Weddings, Parties, Clubs, the After Hours, and even on the Main Stage at the Pacific Coliseum (Vancouver). Jimmy Vu has performed in the same events featuring some of these noted artists here in Vancouver, Canada. These artists are: COONE, HEADHUNTERZ, ALESSO, MARTIN GARRIX, DON DIABLO, JAY HARDWAY, EPHWURD, ORJAN NILSEN MEMORY LOSS, BRENNAN HEART, WILDSTYLEZ, DJ THERA, DJ ISAAC, TECHNOBOY, TUNEBOY, D-BLOCK & S-TE-FAN, DA TWEEKAZ, WASTED PENGUINZ, LADY FAITH, ATMOZFEARZ, AUDIOTRICZ, REBOURNE, OMEGATYPEZ, MC VILLAIN, NOISECONTROLLERS, ,CRISIS ERA, DARKSIDERZ, JUSTIN PRIME. Jimmy is a crowd pleaser and is unique in the sense that he can take his audience on a journey.  He will keep you grooving by playing exclusive beats that move the soul and provide good vibes. He focuses on melody and energy in his sets to make it a memorable experience.
