SUBTRONICA was created in 2022 when it released its debut single, GIVE ME YOUR SUMMER.  

SUBTRONICA's name was inspired by electronic music that is diluted with classical elements to create emotive and melodic synth-pop.

Jake Jordan is a composer, arranger, performer & producer in Los Angeles, California, USA.  He is a spirited dreamer and creator who enjoys the melody, harmony, noise, and dissonance of sound. 

Attributes of Jake's original music include the use of arpeggiators (prevalent or subtle), classical instruments and analogue generated sub-bass where the sound can shake walls and windows.  Turn up your speakers!

Jake has produced and performed in many highly regarded and successful tribute projects of Depeche Mode (via Blasphemous Rumours and Strangelove), The Human League (via Fascination), Blondie (via Atomic Blond) and toured & performed across the USA in many esteemed venues.

Its true, ooh ooh ooh, in 1994 Jake played live synths for Ray Horton, the voice you heard on Milli Vanilli's Blame It On The Rain.  He really did sing!
