So this is the mix that got me hooked on the Sun & Bass vibe! There was absolutley no way I could have gone another year without going out there. So that was that and I booked the flights and hotel and landed the following year (without a ticket!) and then it began....

It's FINALLY here! Check out the full recording from my Sun & Bass debut last year. Anyone who knows me, knows that performing at SnB has been a bucket list item and dream of mine since 2015, the first time I attended the best drum & bass festival in the world. Thanks to my incredible #USDNB contingent and the powers that be, I was able to realize that dream.

Special thanks to the one & only DJ Strife for inviting me to host her set; long-time SnB emissary, Strife is the first female DJ to perform at the festival and the first USDNB artist as well, a major legacy. It was definitely an honor to rock out with Strife + she crushed it - esp. as this was our first time performing together, ever! The connection was strong, the set was vibes and I am super proud of the quality and how it came out. 

Special guest for the set was the homie T.R.A.C, who came up on stage with us to perform the 2nd verse of "All my Life" - T.R.A.C, Stamina MC, LSB live on stage with us! <swoons>

On this day (9/12/24), the winds were very high and the beach stage was closed. As such, everyone came up to Ambra Day to check out the music and sets from Dub Fx, Grooverider, Catching Cairo, De La Haye, and we found ourselves sandwiched in the 7:45 - 8:30 slot. We had over 400 people in the crowd including some of dnb's true legends in the house! I enjoyed the honor of passing the mic to Catching Cairo after our set. 

Massive shouts to all the fam supporting us overseas, online, and at the festival - we had a huge contingent that gave us strength and vibes! Music can take you so many places. I once freestyled with C-Rayz Walz back in 2003 in a dark alley in Baltimore near the Ottobar. In September 2024, I performed at Sun & Bass alongside the DJ Strife at Ambra Day, San Teodoro, Sardinia - a global mecca of drum & bass. I’ve had the pleasure of emceeing and hosting for inimitable artists like LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Makoto, Zero T, Break, Calyx, Ray Keith, Nookie, Mampi Swift, Aphrodite, Klute, DJ SS, Fabio, Total Science, Audio, Teebee, Pola & Bryson, Flava D, Redeyes, S.P.Y, Ant TC1, Craze, Kasra, Mefjus, Halogenix, Bad Company UK, Digital, Matrix & Futurebound, Heist, Command Strange, Phibes, Spinscott, MC Fava, DJ Rap, Enei, Bladerunner, Robert Manos, Dieselboy, DJ Dara, AK1200, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, The Upbeats, Critical Impact, Sub Zero, Random Movement, Gremlinz, Rene LaVice, Prolix, Loadstar, Brookes Brothers, T.R.A.C, The Prototypes, Sinistarr, Quadrant, Taxman, Teddy Killerz, and so many more. I am a freestyle fanatic who is passionate about the art of emceeing, & all the subtleties and nuances that go along with it.   

I love the rush that accompanies the feeling of holding the mic, but having no idea of what I am going to say next.  When you are the conduit between the DJ and the crowd, the medium by which expression is felt and shared.  In those moments you are able to influence the crowd + what people may think or feel, the night, and the direction it will follow.  Ultimately, that memory will be yours to keep forever.  I have been freestyling, writing music, and emceeing for over 22 years now with no plans to change.  My goal is to share a piece of who I am every time I perform for those who listen.  I emcee simply because I love it.

Will Keen aka Keeno is a Bristol-based composer and producer specialising in his own blend of Orchestral Drum & Bass. He started touring globally in 2013 at some of the world's most famous clubs and festivals with his emotionally charged, musical and uplifting sets. Most recently, Keeno has been making waves with his new live show combining Live Piano with Drum & Bass.

Keeno's music captured the attention of Hospital Records in 2014, where he was signed at the age of 19. All 4 of his studio albums reached the top 25 in the Official Dance Albums Charts. He has gathered over 100 million streams and collaborated with Etherwood, Whiney,  Unglued, and DRS and remixed Sultan + Shepard, Above & Beyond, S.P.Y, Fred V & Grafix and Maduk.

In 2022, Keeno went on to found his own record label: Keeno Music pioneering Orchestral DnB. It launched with the immersive Courage EP, a UKF On Air set in the mountains of Andorra and his 1 Year Of Keeno Music Album featuring the co-writing talents of Makoto, In:Most, Diandra Faye & more. Keeno Music's events have also been growing in popularity with 4 sold-out events in the first year alone.

Keeno's "Nocturne" was the start screen theme for "Forza Horizons 2" and his music was included in all game sequels to the present day. Other sync clients include Jaguar, The Crew Motorfest and many more.
