Finally, from the depths of time emerges a new 1200 MICROGRAMS track, this time joining forces with those two cosmic warriors LUCAS (SUPERMODULE) and CELLI (EARTHLING), collectively known as MANDELBROT.  
In fact, ARTIFICIAL INSANITY is a track that features a particularly potent gathering of maestros.  Along with RAJA RAM, RIKTAM, LUCAS and CELLI, a surprise guest appeared in the studio to merge and lyserge... a certain Mr SIMON POSFORD (HALLUCINOGEN/SHPONGLE) who joined us on synths to provide an electronic lubricant that baffles the senses and stimulates the neurones.  
You'll even find a pinch of DOOF magic in there for good measure in the form of the classic riff from his 90's hit 'DOUBLE DRAGONS'.

TIP Record's DJ/Producer Lucas O'Brien is back with the sequel to his highly acclaimed, chart-topping compilation 'Avant Garden' (2015) which features a selection of tried and tested sonically diverse tracks by some of his favourite artists that he's been playing in his DJ sets worldwide. For this project, Lucas sourced music from what he considers the most cutting edge, pioneering producers on the scene - Hallucinogen, Raja Ram, Ingrained Instincts, Outsiders, Laughing Buddha, Martian Arts, Earthspace, Audio Unit and Everblast - as well as being substantially involved in the production side himself under his various guises: 'SuperModule' (his solo project), 'Mandelbrot' (his project with Celli 'Earthling') and 'Sybarite' his project with Ric Featherstone. The compilation begins with one of Lucas' trademark introductions, once again collaborating with label founder Raja Ram. Designed to tickle the eardrums and get your body moving, Avant Garden II represents the flow of a psychedelic trance dance party by kicking off with a slower and groovier vibe, then building up the pace and intensity steadily as the album progresses... eventually reaching a more night-time style peak, whilst still keeping Lucas' characteristic funky element in the tunes. Towards the end of the album, the music transitions into a more dawn friendly style to land you safely onto a blissful cloud of psychedelia. As was the case with the first Avant Garden, Lucas used the exquisite artwork of TIP favourite visionary artist Brahma Templeman, this time commissioning a painting exclusively for the cover which illustrates a beautiful psychedelic garden. My set from Origin of Trance at Pumpehuset on May 17th 2025. Beat Bizarre was the headliner of the night, so I played lots of oldschool Iboga sounds - mixed with older and newer stuff from around the world. Setting out at 134 bpm and rising to 145. Earliest track from 1997, newest from 2024. Mixing the old with the new is where the fun is at. Beat Bizarre meets Braincell meets Behind Blue Eyes meets British psytrance (like SuperModule, Dickster and early Avalon) plus some Electrypnose magic, a sprinkle of Grouch, some awesome Ace Ventura rollers + a few surprises (and then some Etnica and X-Dream for the ultra nostalgia crew).

Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos from Greece. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky! 

After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born in 2014. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are building their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, Sonic Loom and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts are signed with Sangoma Records and so far released on TIP Records, Nano Records, Future Music Records, Blacklite Records and more. Ingrained Instincts have been busy touring around the globe and have performed live at some of the biggest festivals of the Psytrance scene such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Antaris, FreeEarth, Indian Spirit, Kosmos and many others… 

This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.

As ambassadors of the label, Raja Ram and DJ Lucas O'Brien (SuperModule) presented their label showcase touring the globe for over 20 years bringing the TIP sound to a wider audience.
The back catalogue reads like a who's who of the Psychedelic Trance scene and TIP helped many top artists to launch their careers.

Today, with a roster of sought after, quality and dynamic artists, TIP continues to bring music and joy to dance floors around the world!

UK based DJ and producer Lucas O'Brien has been rounding up dancefloors and rocking them in the right direction since he started playing funk, soul and hiphop back in the mid to late ‘80s.   Never shy of mixing up styles and genres, acid house, new-beat and techno started to creep into his sets as he started to get requests to perform at respected London clubs such as The End, Heaven, Club UK and Fabric.  

Lucas loves nothing more than having a dancefloor in his hands and working the right grooves to suit the occasion.  His knack to read a crowd and his vast experience has found him performing an array of different styles of music at many world famous institutions such as the V & A museum, the panoramic top floor of the Tate Museum of Modern Art and to a star-studded dancefloor opposite the diplodocus at the Natural History museum for the Harry Potter 3 premiere after-party. 

His trance-infused psychedelic techno music was found to crossover with the sounds being played in Goa in the early 90s… and it was this that led him to an opportunity to play at some of the early, now legendary, TIP parties hosted by Raja Ram.

Today, with three highly acclaimed chart-topping albums ‘GOD SAVE THE MACHINE’, ‘TALES OF HEADS’ and his most recent album ‘CONFESSIONS OF A SUPERMODULE’ - under his artist alias ‘SUPERMODULE’ - Lucas is recognised as one of the world’s leading psytrance DJs representing RAJA RAM’s label TIP Records globally with his unique, driving, UK psychedelic sound.
Lucas has toured extensively over that last three decades performing in over 50 different countries, and he shows no signs of slowing with his touring stretching as far afield as Europe, US, South America, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia.  

The same can be said for his studio productions with several exciting collaboration projects in the pipeline.  He has been working with the artists Eat Static, G.M.S, Hallucinogen, Youth, Iridian, Ingrained Instincts and Illumination to name but a few.. plus he recently released the best selling sequel to his hugely popular compilation series AVANT GARDEN.  
His new project with Celli EARTHLING, called ‘MANDELBROT’, has already been tearing up dancefloors worldwide after several high profile live sets including the main stage at OZORA Festival, BOOMTOWN, MUNDO DE OZ, UNIVERSO PARALLELO and BOOM festival.

BIOGRAPHY

Ozzy Cetin, originally from Turkey and now based in London, is a renowned psytrance DJ known by aliases such as Mysticism, Wired, Ramizes, and Freetech. He is the driving force behind Crystal Kids, a Manchester-based community organizing psytrance events.

His journey into DJing began in 2004 in Eskisehir, Turkey, under the moniker 'RAMIZES,' where he showcased progressive and full-on psychedelic trance at his events. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire, introducing 'MYSTICISM' for psychill and 'FREETECH' for darkpsy in 2013. From 2011 to 2014, Ozzy immersed himself in Turkey's psytrance scene, participating in major indoor and outdoor events both as a crew member and DJ.

Ozzy's talent gained international recognition, leading him to perform at prestigious festivals such as OZORA, Earthcore, Boomtown, Sonica, Free-Earth, One Tribe, and The Beat-Herder from 2014 to 2017. 

As techno began to blend seamlessly with psytrance, Ozzy embraced this fusion, forming the alter ego 'WIRED' in 2019 to explore zenonesque, dark progressive, psygressive, and psytech sounds.

His prowess behind the decks earned him 'The Best DJ Set' awards at online competitions hosted by Earthcore Festival (Australia, 2015), Primitive Festival (Morocco, 2016), Psymera (UK, 2017), and Strange Daze (UK, 2017).

Since 2004, Ozzy has performed at countless international psytrance events, with a detailed bookings list available on his Soundcloud profile, where he meticulously curates each set with a unique tracklist. His Soundcloud playlists stand out as a definitive collection of the genre's best tracks, showcasing the talent of psytrance artists worldwide.

Since 2015, Ozzy has been actively organizing events in both Turkey and the UK, further cementing his role as a prominent figure in the global psytrance community.

WAPAQ is a nascent Psy Trance project by Tristan Kallweit from northern Germany. While he is visiting Psy Trance festivals and partys since 2013, the desire to get behind the decks himself has surfaced only in late 2023. Inspired by artists like Electric Universe and Mad Maxx/Mad Tribe, as well as Galactic Explorers and Audiosonic, he loves to play sets that are intense, fast and include a lot of machinic or electric sounds, preferably so as to give the people on the dancefloor but few breaks to breathe.
