Jesus’ birth and life are proof of his ability to identify with the rejected and the neglected, the oppressed and the misunderstood, the outcasts and the poor. You can’t tell Jesus, “He
doesn’t get it.” Isaiah 5:3 makes it clear that He indeed understands suffering and sorrow and struggle and challenge. Join us and hear the story of Wallace Purling and the decision he made as the “Innkeeper” in the local Christmas pageant. Then answer for yourself if you have room in your heart to forgive without understanding, to accept without knowing what the result may be, to forgive those that have doubted and wronged you and ask for forgiveness from those you have wronged?
