And again a colorful and trippy journey through all the new possibilities of #AI developments. This time I tried the #videotovideo feature of #Gen1 Runway and made myself various alienesque #sci-fi creatures mainly in #rainbow colors. Well you will see. It's a #collagevideo made from AI-generated videos and footage I shot on the fly in Vienna. All sporty people ran for the #wingsforlife run on 7 May 23 in Vienna. Very impressive!

If you ask what is happening here ;-) Well, I switched from a Cubase-based product to Ableton live some time ago and am trying to learn more ;-) 

So I made a mini circus-goa-tech-whatever-you-say-it-is-song that was actually meant for beat practicing.  It's a bit circus-like, so: Manege frei! subtitled: "Stressed out clowns" ;-)  

For this little one I made some colourful video again with a little bit of AI and some rushy footage of a small trip to Innsbruck and some sportive bikers in Vienna :-) If you wanna listen to the whole track you can hear/see on my youtube /@chrisdebug or on my soundcloud /chrisdebug

Since I am not sure if I mixed it the right way (usually don't do so bassy music) , so I guess earphones maybe an upgrade for the experience ;-)

Bled968dd29 is whom I assume to be (one of?) my altered personality state(s). I became aware of her existence about VI. years ago after an unlucky and evil dose of acid via an active tumblr account I had been using but did not know about. 
???Ohh, is there anything better than discussing the next step with yourself in a fragmented state of mind??? 
Since then, I've surprised myself more and more often with certain works of art whose moment of creation is shrouded in eternal obscurity. I don't really know what my actual problem is (if I do have any), but it keeps recurring to me that I may have dissociative personality disorder. Time and time again I find out, and then time and time again I have to think that it is absolutely nonsense. 

The only thing that can calm my sweet, sickly mind, which drizzles holographic dissociative glitter over everyday life, is music...

I. Amethyst Dust Rising
The twin moons of Nahrimar never stayed still. Tonight, they pivoted along their invisible hinge, trading places with the hushed ceremony of titans. From the ridge where I stood, their silver light wove a helix down the valley—two pale strands spiraling into the lavender haze below.

I stepped off the ridge and the air thickened, heavy with amethyst dust that tasted of candied thunder. Every footfall sent little geysers of the stuff blooming around my boots, and the ground chimed like distant bells. Far ahead, the valley’s lake lay black and mirror-smooth, reflecting the moons so perfectly that up and down felt like neighboring rooms in the same dream.

As the moons aligned, something shivered in the dust. Grains clustered into rough shapes—antlers, sinew, hooves of crystalline quartz. A herd of six-legged stags stepped from nothingness, their bodies transparent as river ice. Vapor curled from their nostrils; prismatic veins pulsed beneath their skins. The nearest knelt, lowering a jagged saddle that resembled folded light.

Ride. The word wasn’t spoken—it unfurled inside my skull, gentle and absolute. I swung onto its back. The stag’s surface felt cool, electric, like pressing against a newborn star. At once we leapt, gravity loosening its grip as if dodging out of our way.

II. Quartz-Stag Stampede
The valley blurred into streaks of color. Each galloping stride shocked sparks from the stag’s hooves, and every spark hatched into a miniature neon dragon that fluttered briefly beside us before winking out.

We raced along dunes of violet sand. The sand responded, rising in corkscrew towers that burst into obsidian petals behind us. Wind howled in a dozen keys, carrying scents of wet meteorite and mushroom dew. The stag turned sharply, and suddenly the dunes flattened into a checkerboard plain of white and gold glass squares—a landscape that felt sketched in mid-hesitation, as if the world was deciding what it wanted to be.

Olga Gonzalez Latapi (she/her/hers) is a queer poet with an MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts. She has worked with poets like Joseph Lease, who was and remains her mentor, as well as Tonya Foster and Judith Serin. Her voice has been championed by writers like Leslie Carol Roberts, who is the writing program director at California College of the Arts and remains one of her biggest inspirations. She was born under the watchful eye of Frida Kahlo and now she walks surreal roads inside of her mind. She has walked strange roads for twenty-seven years and she looks forward to many more. She started her training in Mexico and journeyed to the United States in search of higher education. She is a graduate of Northwestern University where she earned a BS in Journalism with a minor in English Literature. She thought she wanted to report on the real events of the world, but the worlds inside her mind called with even louder voices. Although her writing journey started in journalism, she is now pursuing her true passion: exploring the world of poetry with a mighty pen in hand and lovely chaos in her heart. Her work has been published in Teen Voices Magazine, Sonder Midwest literary arts magazine, BARNHOUSE Literary Journal (Box of Parrots),  iaam.com and The Nasiona magazine, as well as a handful of school publications in Mexico City and Northwestern.
