Another Smartcore (Hardcore / IDM crossover) track. This time focusing on the increasing soft-surveillance that is steadily rolled out. As a mailman, every time I see yet another new Ring "doorbell" install stare me in the face, I die a little inside. Or Tesla cars, or any other "self-driving" car for that matter, I know have cameras all over. I make quite an effort preserving my privacy (digitally at least), but this is out of my reach, which is frustrating to me.

Therefore I wrote a little poem about it (was fun doing some poetry after a long time again):

Sensor fitted prosaic objects

Roaming the streets
Swarming the sky
Peering from porches
Carried on thy

Autonomous cars,
Delivery drones,
Security systems,
Mobile phones

All surveil
All conceal
While we are expected
To reveal

Wealth imbalance
Catalyst of crime
Poor get robbed
Rich nickle and dime,

Let it exist
The problem persist
Revolving door jail
A plea to surveil

Those who resist
The tyranny's fist
Are traced back home
Even when cloaked

As AI will learn
Discriminate, discern
The smallest of details
There's no return

All swallowed by city
There's nowhere to flee
