As a co-founder of the DJ and event collective KLINSH, SI.KURD was significantly involved in the creation and success of several event series in Braunschweig: on the one hand as the initiator of the KRISENTRAUMA series, several appearances in the LAUT KLUB and as a resident at the DIPPIN' in the BRAIN KLUB. Currently he is one of the residents of the event series BINÄR (Berlin/ Hildesheim) and the Geheimclub Magdeburg.
Besides the club events he organized open airs, streams and music workshops. Restricted by the Corona Pandemic he dedicated himself to producing and released his own track "WHAT YOU WAITING FOR" at the end of last year. A few weeks later he released a remix EP with interpretations of his track by 9 DJ and producer friends.
His record collection reflects his wide-ranging musical interests, a constant is the preference for raw analog productions: Techno, Functional but also House he prefers with strong melodic pads, always stably carried by highly functional drums without ever lacking depth or atmosphere.

Since he started collecting them on vinyl months ago, he has completely switched to plastic.

Suspended Podcast No. 15 - Degen

Suspended is born during the pandemic in Berlin. Techno and a dusty basement brought us together as friends and as a collective. 

We look to cultivate an inclusive environment through art and sound - a (first of all) digital space to promote artists of different media, to set up new topics, build awareness and inspire. 

What exactly is relevant for followers of our subculture? How do artists find inspiration? And what is required to make positive and safe experiences on the dance floor?

Central to the collective’s goals is the promotion of artists of different mediums who look to share their passion. This means we’re open for art direction during collaborations and encourage artists to share their visions. Our expectation isn’t that all projects are related to us, fact quite the opposite. We wish to be a conduit, not the focus.
