Due to a recent law in Hungary, made to limit the right of assembly, amongst other minorities, the LGBTQ community and Budapest Pride face uncertain times. The only answer to this, is to unite and let our voices heard. We need to safeguard queer spaces.

Electronic music has always been a safe space for the queer community, so Marmint is launching a compilation in solidarity with Budapest Pride on the 28th of June, 2025. The digital release is going to be accessible on Soundcloud, Nina Protocol, Bandcamp and other streaming services.

About the release: "The CRTTR-CLB series carries the vision of exploring different ways of challenging the notion of club music. For each release we want to bring together four artists who have somehow given us a glitchy feeling on the dancefloor, while digging or in any other listening situation. We’ll be releasing a new track every friday."

CRTTR is a Bern-based collective founded in 2021. Their focus lays on experimentation and exploration in a broad field. "We strive to shed light on different niches, be it through releases, events, radio shows, sonic works, visual art or whatever seems interesting to us at the moment," says the label.

An EP that aimlessly cruises airspace filled with intentional fires, with only one purpose: to destroy what is different. Its forces are omnipresent reminders of our everyday mortality, amplifiers of fear and nightmares. Just as a bomb reminds us of its destructive potential through sound, so too does the sound carry the emotion undoubtedly associated with wreckage. The chaos that unfolds is the lasting aftermath of spontaneous decision-making in the minds of those who sold the unsellable. With blissful joy, we choose a better future—one that hides itself behind familiar pain in a modular skin. A synthesis of the old creates the old, just less familiar, and we delusionally pursue what has no outcome. The experience of living, captured in a few fragments: the autumn of the human project.

This EP is made by Milan, 1/2 of SELENoLAr, a Slovak music duo.

After a successful mashup track "K.E.V.P.L.I. (SHI33Y)" by a Japanese producer, we decided to premiere his new edit. It is from píccolo's first upcoming "DJ TOOLZ (Vol 1)" project.

"This song was inspired by the song "KaTT - SUPERMILKCHAN”. I thought it would be fun to turn it into baile funk," píccolo told us. The Tokyo-based DJ and club experimentator is back with his new fresh club hybrid.

"I love club tracks and the thought of having people dance to my music excites me! I was into baile funk when I was writing this song, and the artists I was listening to/inspired by at the time were Klap, Mu450, and Adame DJ. They had a significant influence on me."

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐱 ➽ Warsaw-based Julian Płoski, known as Julek Ploski, is a Polish experimental music artist, producer, and composer. On his gendre-bending albums, Julek blends baroque aesthetics, metal, hyperpop, spoken word, piano or hard dance. As on this guest mix exclusively created for Swine Daily, we can hear Julek's surreal, eerie, and theatrical experiences.

From citing parts from the various movies, to Bred Mehldau's piano interpretation of Elliott Smith, to Japanese game soundtracks, Leonard Cohen, an interview with Jeff Bezos, or a baile funk remix of Justin Bieber. Nobody does it like Julek. Every time I hear Julek's music, I feel like I'm watching a theatre play. It's this atmosphere between soundtracks, spoken words, music collages, and silence, it's just incredible.

Hiiro Issiki’ s "Tannins" is a 6-track mini-album that blends immersive ambient, cinematic dance music, and techno, crafted with minimal repetition to shape an environmental soundscape. It is inspired by movie soundtracks and emotional atmospheres, it merges ecstatic expression with meditative stillness, questioning modern society through deep, unshaped sound waves and abrupt noises.

The songs on the album are the result of a number of factors, but the emotion is consistently sad and dark. The songs have what is known in Japanese as a “fragility”. “儚さʼʼ (Hakanasa)

Sabi, using grains, ethereal sad voices and Noise Bigbeat, is a pulsating techno piece with a raw, industrial edge. It captures the fleeting beauty of decay and inviting movement with its hypnotic beats.
