You walk under a setting sun. The horizon separates two different shades of red and the rocks scattered around you draw sharply contoured shadows that grow longer and longer. You’re at the center of a slowly moving cloud of dust and in your mind’s eye you compare its size to the immensity of the plateau and you find comfort in the insignificance of an individual’s footprint in this uncaring and beautiful land. Then, while the fiery eye is slowly turning into a burning slice of grapefruit, a dying ember, a memory, you enter the winding path down. You’ve been here before and you know: the tight tunnel you’re walking will widen, expand and open into endless caves, eerie lit by crystals and fairy lights; the music that brought you here bouncing from stalagmite to stalagmite, strange voices calling, creatures of all shapes and sizes pirouetting, stepping and shaking, rising and falling, lifted by a deep frequency as fundamental as earth’s pulse itself. Dancing down there, you can relax, let go, jump, fly, let go, trip, soar and finally rest and, if you feel like it, rewind and start all over again.

Wendy aka Lena aka Ich, kam vor 10 Jahren in die Schweiz, besser gesagt nach Zürich. In die eigentliche ;-) Hauptstadt der Schweiz. Oder für mich linde ausgedrückt: das Mekka der elektronischen Musik!

Mit der Zeit hat mich das Zürcher Nachtleben immer mehr verzaubert und hypnotisiert, sodass ich die Chance hatte, etwas in die Musikszene reinschauen zu dürfen, wodurch ich viel für mitnehmen, erleben, hören, sehen und lernen konnte/durfte.

Ich habe mich von Jung auf an schon für das Nachtleben interessiert, auch in meiner Heimat. Wo man mich generell auf dem Dancefloor bis zum Schluss am tanzen treffen konnte. Wobei natürlich musikalisch ich noch nicht mal ansatzweise wusste, was der Begriff elektronische Musik überhaupt alles beinhaltet und wie sich das überhaupt anhören könnte. Ich komme vom Dorf und rundherum gab es nur einen Großen Club und zwar das Index, wo es verschiedene Floors mit mehr gebildeter Musik gab.

Heute genau Jetzt, darf ich nicht nur zur Musik tanzen, sondern darf andere Menschen zum Tanzen bringen und ihnen meinen Vibe übermitteln was elektronische Musik mit mir macht und was alles in ihr steckt plus wieviele Facetten Sie hat.

Zuhause fühle ich mich im Bereich Minimal//Rominimal und Microhouse.

Ich verliebe mich jedesmal aufs Neue. Und egal wie oft ich einen Track schon gehört habe, bei jedem Mal mehr, hört man andere Sachen und erlebt ihn total neu - deshalb den Vibe übermitteln.

Wo ich mich ebenfalls unglaublich wohl fühle ist Downtempo elektronisch und Ambient.

Ich mache seit mehr als einem Jahr Musik bzw erlerne das Djing. Unter Anderem versuche ich das nicht nur Digital sondern auch Analog.

Ich konnte auch schon einige Male öffentlich spielen mit meiner Musik bzw Genre und mit Downtempo. Neuerdings spiele Ich unter dem Label Chic Akustik, was mich sehr Supportet und ich die Leute mehr als gut 10 Jahre kenne und schätze!
