Band deathcore asal Bandung, Revenge the Fate, telah merilis single terbaru dengan judul “Bencana” pada Rabu (22/2). Lagu ini diambil dari album kedua mereka yang dijadwalkan rilis tahun ini. Sebelumnya, Revenge the Fate merilis album perdana bertajuk Redemption pada 2014 silam.

Lirik “Bencana” bercerita tentang keresahan akan masalah intoleransi yang belakangan sering kali terjadi. “Pemaksaan oknum-oknum tertentu akan ideologi atau pendapatnya yang merasa paling benar, bahkan sampai cenderung bertindak vandal apabila ada kelompok lain yang berbeda dengan mereka,” jelas pihak band seperti dikutip dari siaran pers.

“Saya yakin tidak hanya saya yang merasakan, banyak orang di luar sana merasakan hal yang sama. Penat dan jenuh dikarenakan berbagai kejadian intoleransi yang terjadi di lingkungan sekitar kita,” tambah Cikhal selaku gitaris dari Revenge the Fate.

Dari segi aransemen, Revenge the Fate menjanjikan bahwa “Bencana” memiliki nuansa yang lebih buas dan secara bersamaan terasa penyegaran dari materi-materi sebelumnya. Proses mixing dan mastering lagu ini dilakukan oleh Max Maly (Sequence Sound), sound producer dan engineer asal Russia.

“Bencana” sudah dapat didengar lewat beberapa layanan musik digital seperti Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, dan lainnya. Penggarapan video musiknya tengah direncanakan untuk bisa segera disaksikan lewat saluran YouTube resmi Revenge the Fate.

“Sudah saatnya generasi muda peka dan peduli dengan keadaan intoleransi yang terjadi di sekitar. Dengan cara apa? Kesampingkan perbedaan, jalin kebersamaan untuk berbuat hal nyata yang tentunya positif sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing. Bukan dengan hanya berkomentar atau mencibir di media sosial tetapi nol besar dalam tindak nyata,” pungkas vokalis Anggi.

The group was found in August 2011 in Minsk, Belarus and after a year of work and few changes the band released the first track - Let you Rise.
Few months later the band has taken the finally name As God is My Witness.
Well, in October 2012 came the second track - Best Luck.
At the moment the members of ASGODISMW are:

4. Serg Spivak - bass
