A collection of kicks, snares, hi-hats, toms and more generated by the classic Nord Lead virtual analogue synthesizer - 134 samples presented in four different stereo / mono variants, all in both 88.2 kHz, 24-bit and 44.1kHz, 16-bit packages.

Recorded at 88.2kHz, 24-bit via Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 firewire audio interface to Ableton Live 11. All material produced by Finlay Shakespeare, December 2023.

If you come across a track 'without vocals', I produced it. 

If you come across a track 'with vocals', I still produced it, then wrote to it, and then and only then do I take MY music and MY lyrics and run it through Suno AI. This allows me, a long time songwriter/producer, to create demos. I tag "demo" in most of the songs I post here.  This is because I want to sell these to bands/artists, and work with them until the song is complete.

The "Origin: Unknown" album was made this way, with lyrics I had written to beats I produced over 15 years. I did not want to publish music this way, but being 48 years old, I decided to take the risk in hopes to gain attention/exposure so I can write songs this way, using Suno AI to perfect them - but with the intention of helping another band/artist record the song themselves. 

IMPORTANT: I can recreate every single piece of music on this page, for any artists looking to collaborate. 

It's not that I am lazy, or untalented, yet quite the opposite. I have learned over the years how important it is to stay ahead in music technology, and how to use every single tool available to me to eliminate restrictions in my creative process.

The only song you will hear my voice on is "Last Hope".
