Exploring (Full Version)

So for this composition, I decided to explore a lot of impressionism, particularly from Maurice Ravel's Orchestral works. The idea of observation encapsulation with impressionism seems to work well with space. Imagine floating through space slowly watching all of the beauty, all of the emptiness, all of the chaos. Solange is the name of the character this theme is for in the project. (Made in 2022)

In The Beginning

An imaginary "arguement" between two synths. The battling synths are alternately calmed by the orchestral theme sections, but the synth bickering continues through the end. Sonuscore's The Orchestra Complete provides much of the orchestral pulse and driving rhythms for the piece.

Krit was a small boy, often feeling like he didn’t quite fit in.
Despite his achievements, there was always a quiet voice telling him, 
"You don’t belong". 
He told himself it was normal, part of growing up. But it never went away. 
Then one night, he had a dream.

🌅 Act 1: The Dream
He ran through wide, golden fields, feeling light and free. For the first time in a long time, he didn’t have to think, everything just felt right.

🌑 Act 2: The Nightmare
Suddenly, the world grew still. The fields shrank, and a shadow appeared in front of him.
"You don’t belong."
The air thickened. He couldn’t move, and the doubt that always lingered felt overwhelming.
"You are nothing."

⚔️ Act 3: The Ascent
A shift. Krit started to move. Slowly at first, then faster. The shadow loomed, but he kept going. The doubt didn’t disappear, but it no longer held him back.

🌟 Act 4: The Awakening
He pushed forward, the weight lifting with each step. The shadow faded, and with it, the doubt.
Krit didn’t stop. He had awakened, and nothing would hold him back again.

I have always loved music. I learnt piano as a child and have dabbled with guitar without ever learning it ... until now! I have been in choirs most of my life but have not really delved into making music until the last few years. After initially playing around with Garage Band, I moved on to Logic Pro and that's how nearly all of my music has been produced.

I use digital software, guitar and keyboards to produce my original music. I compose and edit using Logic Pro. Other people's vocals or collaborative vocals for any track really are very welcome! 

I love the interaction on Soundcloud and the comments from other musicians and composers are so helpful and supportive. Keep making music everyone!

SPAK ;- Nickname for about 40 years .. forgotten why?

I have been writing songs and poetry since the 60's. I joined a band ( Kerbstone ) in the 70's as lead vocalist and rhythm guitar, soon we purchased a Vox keyboard on which I played such things as Hawkwind 's 'In search of space' .. that was until we were thrown off stage at a Pontins  holiday camp during the gig for being too loud! At some point the bassist decided to marry his girlfriend ( who hated sitting on the stage waiting to drive him home) and our guitarist discovered that grass is sometimes greener (if you get the point) and went AWOL.

Me on the other hand got into writing and singing, joined a few other bands doing vocals, but my heart was in recording. I had a two year contract from a rip off agent, did some work for RCA ,although gainfully employed elsewhere and, actually turned down an A&R guy .. bad move as I discovered later E/L/P had some interest. I wrote some gospel songs that I think are still be sung , but they ended up in America somewhere so I'm not sure ... Marriage took over then kids and mortgage payments plus trimmings were the order of the day.
My best friend and wife has been though it all with me and put up with my desire to build a small studio in retirement ... so there it is ...an opened nutshell.
