Film scorer, singer-songwriter, synth monomaniac and 80s cinema aficionado.

Dustin Lau is a Hawaiian born composer for Film, TV and Multimedia, living in Southern California. With music for films set in Africa, receiving nominations for best original score while using instruments and choirs of vocals from the set location. To Made-for-TV documentaries for Warner Bros / Eurosport in Europe, Dustin’s work crosses multiple genres and even sounds from across continents. 
Every detail of Dustin’s themes are hand-crafted to create a world that immerses the listener into the story of the film. His architectural soundscape is built on melodies fusing real organic instruments, original sound design and at times featuring a collection of synthesizers and instruments he creates for current projects. Such as for 'The God Man' which released in theaters across America, summer of 2023.

Dustin's works have been featured on the Paramount+, ABC, FOX, BBC and USA Networks.  As well as brands ON, Audi, Toyota, Red Bull, New Balance shoes to name a few.
