Syrienne, si rien…

C’est une bande de désert inondée de soleil, 
Bordée par les flots où dansent les aigrettes. 
Au milieu de nulle part dépasse une petite tête, 
Rien ne semble pouvoir troubler son doux sommeil. 
Sur les contreforts d’Alep, repose une fillette. 

La transparence de l’air 
Souligne sa candeur et son sourire de petite sœur. 
Le calme au fond des yeux et la paix au fond du cœur, 
Là, au milieu des pierres, 
Les lèvres sèches, brulées par l’écrasante chaleur. 

Ses cheveux jouent, sous un immense ciel de douceur, 
Avec le vent qui effleure sa joue et caresse les fleurs. 
Sa narine frémit au parfum de cette terre, 
Cette terre brune qui l’a vu naître et grandir, qui la porte 
Elle et ses souvenirs, noyés dans un océan de poussière. 

Face au rivage, elle voit au loin une porte 
Vers ailleurs. 
Les oiseaux marins pour escorte, 
Chantent leurs plaintes. La grande mer bleue, 
Grave et profonde, 
Berce l’enfant au gré de la marée qui jusqu’ici 
Charria son ombre. 
L’ange rêve, parmi le ballet 
D’herbes vertes aux reflets rougis, 
Paisible, délicatement réchauffée 
Par les rayons roussis. 

C’est une insignifiante tache, sombre 
Comme la nuit dans son tchador. 

Le voile de ses huit ans déchiré à jamais 
Par ce court et triste séjour. 

Défigurée elle dort, 
Pour toujours.
