“It’s such a special ensemble because it carries on the legend of the great jazz pianist, Dave Brubeck, led by two of his sons," says Kira Goidel, the Artist Experience Manager at Windmills Craftworks in The Colony. The venue will welcome the Brubeck Brothers Quartet June 7th and 8th, 2025 in a dining setting reminiscent of New York's Birdland or Blue Note.

el12 Opole Politechnic Band - Generacja 2.0 to nowy projekt muzyczny, którego premiera miała miejsce 22 maja 2021 roku podczas II rejsu IX edycji "Z orkiestrą po Odrze". Pomysł i kształt zespołu narodził się w październiku 2020 roku podczas jednego z wieczorów XXIV edycji Warsztatów Muzycznych. Pomysłodawcą projektu jest Przemysław Ślusarczyk. Zespół rozpoczął pracę nad nowym repertuarem w styczniu 2021 roku. Repertuar stanowią utwory z pogranicza jazzu, rocka, popu, z elementami bluesa wzbogacone o improwizacje. Działalność zespołu jest niekomercyjna.

Zespół tworzą muzycy rekrutujący się z Orkiestry Politechniki Opolskiej i Orkiestry Dętej Opolskiego Elektryczniaka:
- Bartosz Dorosiewicz - saksofon tenorowy,
- Michał Duszak - gitara basowa,
- Gustaw Rydzak - instrumenty perkusyjne,
- Przemysław Ślusarczyk - stage piano,

"Handmade music", allowing room for creativity and spontaneity is "my thing". For me, this works best with Jazz, Blues, R&B and Funk. But also the great masters of classical music inspire and motivate me to continue learning and exploring. And then, I also like good beats that go into feet and heart, no matter what genre.

"Handgemachte" Musik, die der Kreativität und Spontaneität Raum gibt, ist "mein Ding". Das geht für mich am besten mit Jazz, R&B, Funk und Blues. Die großen Meister der Klassik inspirieren und motivieren mich, weiter zu lernen und zu erforschen. Dann aber auch gute Beats, die in die Beine und ins Herz gehen, egal in welchem Genre.
