This is just a quick test between the Microphone Parts SDC-84 and Takstar CM-60 small diaphragm microphones.

This song was recorded at the same time through both microphones. They were connected to a Universal Audio Apollo Twin | X with a Neve 1073 preamp emulation (gain set to -50dB) and then recorded directly into Logic Pro.

The microphones were placed about 2" apart so they are more or less capturing the same exact sound. These microphones were used on every single track (vocals, guitar, mandolin, and upright bass).

The guitar tracks posted here have no effects or EQ added.

The full-instrument tracks here have some light reverb added to the vocals and instruments.

The "No Mastering" tracks have no EQ applied. Just volume balance and panning.

The other full-instrument tracks are using Logic Pro's AI Mastering plugin.
