Here's to another premiere! In collaboration with Lost Tribe Sound and Civic Hall we give you "III (Edit)" a shorter version of the original track "III" from the forthcoming release "The Trembling Line", a mix of bedroom pop music, ambient, experimental electronica and modern classical music.

It's a soothing and comforting sound but there's certain emotions you feel throughout listening to the album as a whole. A longing for something, finding out where you belong and trying your best to get there through sound. Low, distant drones and slowly moving piano melodies send you through a wide range of different situations and settings that you conjure in your head.

"The audio work is a recreation (or, unmachinization) of the timbral sounds of static by human-performed means: against slate, graters, bubble wrap, and electromagnetic frequencies captured from cellular devices and filtered. We wanted to create artificial static, reflecting on what it means to bring electronic, non-human, and non-musical phenomena to human scale, and invent a counterfeit world that posits that this is in fact how static is created. In other words, to promote a false piece of audio with a false understanding of its scale. And this is not random: Cloud Circuit’s main source interests lie in the deconstruction of the false promotion of the internet as existing in the atmospheric omnipresence of “the cloud”, where in fact, its delivery, maintenance, and operation bases exist as a result of human manpower, and flow thourgh fibre-optic cables on the floors of our oceans."

Mark Vernon is a Glasgow based sound artist who works with found tapes and acousmatic presence. His work explores themes of magnetic memory, audio archaeology, voyeurism and nostalgia. His solo music projects have been published through labels including Kye, Glistening Examples, Flaming Pines, Misanthropic Agenda, Entr’acte and Canti Magnetici. He co-runs and curates Glasgow art radio station, Radiophrenia and has produced programmes for stations internationally.

Eric Broitmann is a composer and performer of Electroacoustic Music.

He studied with Roger Cochini at the academy of music in Bourges and with Denis Dufour at the academy of music in Paris.

His compositions have been played in various events and festivals (Le Forum de la jeune création musicale, Foliesphonies, Elektrophonie, L’espace du son de Musique et Recherche, Synthèse, Le Palais de Tokyo, Electromania, Futura).

He also compose for danse.
Eric Broitmann  collaborates with Motus  since 2008.
He organises évents, concerts and makes stages for Young school public.
