Tears of Darkness led Gothic metal music through both Symphonic Metal atmospheres.
The most relevant feature in the songs is given by the juxtaposition of two voices. The dark, deep Growl/Grunt of the male lead intertwines with the ethereal and soft voice of the female lead.
