This podcast is about how to get into software development. This is meant for someone who's at the beginning stages of their IT career, trying to get their first job. Or for someone who is still newer in the industry and wants to listen for advice and conversation on technology for what's out there. 

The name Experience Required comes from job postings saying they want a "junior" developer but also saying you must have a certain level of experience. Therefore, we came up with Experienced Required because it's indicative of the biggest struggle you'll have.

Who are we? Our names are Jordan and Chaz and we've been connected in the IT for years now. Jordan is a developer who's been through his professional struggles to get to where he is now and is in the development world daily. Chaz is a technical recruiter who helps get people different jobs and has a high level view of the overall industry. 

With those two combined experiences we come together from different angles on advice, ideas and strategies on how to get your first job in the IT industry as a developer. Also, we will goof off and most likely go off topic to fun rants that we find interesting - and in that we trust you may find it interesting as well!
