During the alcohol prohibition that was in effect from 1919 until 1933, Donald Bump and The Syrup Smugglers used to store bootleg liquor as it made its way to the United States from stills in such Kanadian locals as Bump Town of rogues, but during the Depression years, many a costal family supplemented its income by supplying a thirsty nation with the maple syrup and illegal beverages it craved.

Syrup Smuggling is one of Donald's favourite pass times but he will always save time for his other Passion 4X4 Klub Beats, Breaks and Lazer Bass.

Although this may be the first time you have heard of Donald Bump his other alias has been work hard in the club scene since 2002, playing over 150 different clubs and special events. Donald's knowledge and passion for music alongside many hours creating his sound has NOT been unnoticed, getting international support from top Djs and Producers like Deekline, Tradelove, The Freestylers, Marten Horger and The Plump Djs . Marcel Mathieu aka DJ Mathieu started in early years to spin records at parties in Lucerne. With the label Project313 he started in 2001 to organize parties and events with international deejays of electronic music always trying to present a range of different music styles to the people. Because of a new collaboration, he continued his work under the new label «Njoymusic».

During all those years he had the opportunity to play in Germany, France, Austria and a gig at a «Movement Festival Pre Party» in Detroit/USA. His love to the city and especially the music of Detroit influences his DJ-Sets, which are packed with a bunch of soul, funk, deepness, rawness and love. From Hip-Hop to House over Disco and Neo-Soul or even Techno – the right music for the right time and mood. Of course all the music still played with Vinyl Records.

The stars had dissolved into pale threads of light, bending endlessly around them. Driftspace was never silent; it hummed—low, unstable, alive. Neon pressed her hand against the bulkhead, feeling the vibration pass through her skin like a second pulse.

“We bought time,” Thorne said, hands moving across the helm. “But the Vantoth won’t stay scattered for long. They’ll recalibrate, triangulate our echo. Mystica’s reach doesn’t end at the corridor.”

Neon studied him. His voice was too calm, the same way it had been when he bluffed the cascade. She hated how convincing he sounded—even to her.

“What aren’t you telling me?” she asked.

Thorne hesitated. His eyes flicked to the navigation screen, where a single glyph burned faintly in the corner: ∴.

“That’s not a drift marker,” Neon whispered. “It’s a seal.”

Thorne nodded once. “Old code. Buried before the wars. Coranthium doesn’t just power ships, Neon—it opens gates. If Mystica wanted it, it’s because they’ve found the lattice.”

Her stomach dropped. The lattice. A myth, or so she thought—an interlocked network of corridors between sectors, some stable, some collapsing. Legends said the ancients locked it to prevent entire systems from folding into each other.

“And you… you have the key?” she pressed.

Thorne’s hands stilled. The hum of driftspace grew louder, or maybe it was just the pounding of her heart.

“Not the key,” he said finally. “A shard.”

Before she could respond, the console flickered. The ∴ seal pulsed once—twice—then spread across the screen like veins of light. Driftspace around them warped, folding inward.

“They found us,” Neon breathed.

“No,” Thorne said, jaw tightening. “Someone else did.”

The ship shuddered violently. Outside, driftspace cracked like glass, revealing a sphere of impossible color—a station, suspended where no station should exist, thrumming with signals older than their war, older than Mystica.

The shard in Thorne’s hand glowed to life, resonating with the fractured seal.

“Welcome to the lattice,” he muttered.
