DJ SET - EP.3 - Techno (LIVE)

With gracious permission of the organisers, I was allowed to perform my debut DJ set for my sister's wedding last week, as a special way of welcoming a new chapter into our family's life.

The selection is largely inspired by our time going out and dancing in Tokyo nightclubs last year;
kicking off with a freshly minted UK Garage-tinged intro,
shifting into quirky Tech Dance goodness at 140BPM,
only to quickly bump the tempo into Hardcore Rave territory,
with a side course of UKF/Liquicity-flavored Dancefloor Drum & Bass,
complete with party favors and surprises, according to the bride's taste.

Special thanks go out to
- my best friend who has supported me tremendously throughout this endeavour,
- the event technician that made it all possible in the first place,
- both bridesmaids (one for helping me with track selection and the other for having me perform earlier in the night),
- family and friends, acquaintances and guests that came to party and raved along,
- and, of course, the newlyweds.

来月(10/18 土曜)開催予定のトランスパーティ「Viva Trance~秋の陣~金風の候」
に向けたプロモーションMixとなります。
「当日こんな感じにやるよ～！」な雰囲気でも伝わればいいなってのもあるんですが、昨今のTranceシーンでHard Tranceが流行の兆しがあるのか、140bpm超え(142bpm、145bpm等)の楽曲が増えてきてる印象があったので、実験的に150bpmという早めな感じでHard Tranceを軸にTech Trance、Tech Danceを混ぜた感じに仕立ててみました。

TranceのMixとしては、かなり異質な感じだし「Tranceは138pbm～140bpmが至高」はわかるけど
「Tranceでもこういった多様性(diversity)があっても良いのでは？」
というか個人的にやってみて「Tranceとしてこれはこれでアリじゃね？？」って思った次第です。はい

Nascida como Cleia Eduarda Assmann no interior do Paraná, Brasil.
Desde cedo, a música desempenhou um papel importante em sua vida. Seu pai, um amante dos sons tradicionais, sempre preenchia o ambiente com a beleza da viola e do violão. Sua mãe, por outro lado, tinha uma paixão pelos estilos musicais dos anos 80, como Dance e Europop. Essa combinação de amor e alegria está profundamente enraizada no coração de Dudha Music.
Para Dudha, a música vai além do entretenimento, ela acredita que a música é uma forma de cura, transmutação energética, elevação espiritual e amor. Essa crença fundamental, permeia sua identidade como artista, refletindo-se em sua sonoridade harmonicamente profunda e poderosa.

Born as Cleia Eduarda Assmann in the interior of Paraná, Brazil.
From an early age, music played an important role in her life. Her father, a lover of traditional sounds, always filled the room with the beauty of the viola and guitar. Her mother, on the other hand, had a passion for 80's music styles like Dance and Europop. This combination of love and joy is deeply rooted in the heart of Dudha Music.
For Dudha, music goes beyond entertainment, she believes that music is a form of healing, energy transmutation, spiritual elevation and love. This fundamental belief permeates her identity as an artist, reflected in her harmonically deep and powerful sound.
Dudha stands out in the music scene with her unique style called Tech Dance. Her sound is characterized by being energetic, psychedelic and hypnotic, with influences from Dance, House, Techno and EuroTrance, channeled in a unique way by the artist.
As a DJ and Producer, her goal is to provide people with moments of deep joy, love and immersion within themselves.
