Reciprocal (Nu Disco House Mix) is a funky, bass-driven sermon wrapped in shimmering Nu Disco textures. At 122 BPM in Camelot 6A, StillMofo delivers a groove that’s equal parts club-ready energy and spoken-word truth.

From the start, TR-707 kicks, bongos, and congas set a rolling foundation while funky bass stabs, warped TB-303 acid lines, and jazzy piano riffs tease the groove. Preacher-style vocals cut through with sharp, rhythmic delivery, dissecting friendships and loyalty: “Good relationships are reciprocal.”

Horns and piano riffs push tension into multiple builds and drops, while the acid squelch and layered percussion keep the floor moving. The breakdown strips everything to percussion and swelling bass, before exploding back into a full Nu Disco funk workout—equal parts soulful, satirical, and dancefloor heavy.

This EP unfolds like the soundtrack to the end of the world - a dark, glitch-ridden trip through fractured rhythms and alien soundscapes. Heavy bass pulses and broken beats grind against warped textures, painting visions of a planet in ruins under cosmic invasion. Each track balances chaos with precision: stuttering glitches, otherworldly atmospheres, and relentless low-end pressure. The mood is cinematic, unsettling, and hypnotic, dragging the listener into a surreal post-apocalyptic dreamscape. At once destructive and strangely beautiful, this is music for wandering through the ashes of Earth while watching the skies burn. It's not that Difficult.
