The first plane dived. It dropped like a stone, swelling into a great black shape. Cole gasped, sinking down. The plane roared in an arc, swooping low over the ground. Suddenly bundles tumbled out, white bundles falling and scattering like seeds. The bundles drifted rapidly to the ground. They landed. They were men. Men in uniform. Now the second plane was diving. It roared overhead, releasing its load. More bundles tumbled out, filling the sky. The third plane dived, then the fourth. The air was thick with drifting bundles of white, a blanket of descending weed spores, settling to earth. On the ground the soldiers were forming into groups. Their shouts carried to Cole, crouched in his shelter. Fear leaped through him. They were landing on all sides of him. He was cut off. The last two planes had dropped men behind him. He got to his feet, pushing out of the shelter. Some of the soldiers had found the fire, the ashes and coals. One dropped down, feeling the coals with his hand. He waved to the others. They were circling all around, shouting and gesturing. One of them began to set up some kind of gun. Others were unrolling coils of tubing, locking a collection of strange pipes and machinery in place. Cole ran. He rolled down a slope, sliding and falling. At the bottom he leaped to his feet and  plunged into the brush. Vines and leaves tore at his face, slashing and cutting him. He fell again, tangled in a mass of twisted shrubbery. He fought desperately, trying to free himself. If he could reach the knife in his pocket.

Our first album, Malditos Bass-Star-Dos! (Which will be released next November 1st under our own label, Mental Machine Muzik), is the work of several months in which we have tried to capture our open minds and our obsession with attractive sounds. To present this project, we have created 10 new tracks, which will be accompanied by another 8 tunes published under iBreaks Records label, forming a compilation full of variety with a predominance of Breaks genre.  

In this album you will find tracks clearly influenced by the purest Elektro-Breaks of the early decade ("EBM", "Elektro-Life"); casual and fresh sounds characteristic of Tech-Funk ("Joe Jacks”, "Overestimate", "Hard 'n' Bass", etc.); Oldskool impressive percussions ("Total Cucumber"); as well as tracks inspired by Bassline and NuSkool Breaks predominant in the UK ("Everybody Scream", "You Must Find Strength").

In addition, we wanted to honor one of our sources of inspiration in this adventure in Breaks music, as in the case of "Party Groove", a production subtitled as "Breaks Phenomenon" honoring the NuSkool Breaks classic "TSUNAMI ONE & BT : Hip Hop Phenomenon [Marine Parade] 1999."

Abakus is the avantgarde futuretronica artist project of music producer Russ Davies, who also releases nudisco-electro under the Cinnamon Chasers alias, and progressive rock/ambient with his father Dave Davies (founder of 60s cult act The Kinks) as The Aschere Project.
Abakus explores the deeper and more emotionally complex side to electronic music and the upcoming album later this year is undoubtably his finest work to date, an intensly heartfelt expression of the vast amount of music knowledge and experience Russ has aquired over the 10 years he's been producing and performing globally.Themes of space, other-worlds and dreamlike landscapes are a consistent theme in all of Russ' music. 
As a precurser to the album Abakus hits us with an EP entitled Beyond The Fields EP, which features 6 melodically potent and dreamy futuretronic beats, and you can hear many references to his most seminal influencial tracks such as Orbital - Hylcyon, The Orb - Pink Fluffy Clouds, FSOL - Dead Skin Cells, all mutated into his unique fusion of danceable beats and mind-melting soundscapes. 
His sound drawns many influences from old and new and has become known for being of it's own kind, a fusion of downbeat, dub, techno, trance and electronica. His initial album "That Much Closer To The Sun" as Abakus was released in 2004 on Liquid Sound Design, record label of award-winning producer Youth, and published to Jazz Summers Biglife, and was an album that appealed to both fans of psychadelic and balearic chillout. In the 6 years since releasing this album Abakus has built a special devoted following of fans globally which has seen him revieve bookings to perform at countless festivals and parties world-wide.Music from this album and from his collaboration with Humphrey Bacchus as Nada have been licensed to over 40 downbeat CD album compilations, on dozens are key labels including Ministry Of Sound, Cocoon &amp; Bhudda Bar. Abakus has remixed The Orb, Our Man From Odessa, The Perishers, Roxy Music. In 2010 he released an EP with the track Wasted Feeling, this EP had a stronger club groove to it and recieved strong support from DJ's such as Laurent Garner, Jodi Wisternoff, and Seth Troxler. Bad Tango is the electronic music project of UK based producer Will Railton.

Will was first established in the Psychedelic Breakbeat & Tech-Funk genres following his debut release in January 2011. After topping download charts with a string of successful releases on a variety of labels, he was quickly scooped up by forward thinking UK label Broken Robot, where he continued to help pioneer the Psy Breaks genre alongside the likes of Hedflux and ex-Far Too Loud member, Neurodriver.

In October 2018, following two International Breakbeat Award nominations, a long track record of global bookings and a multitude of auspicious EP’s, remixes and collaborations, Will released his first full length studio album ‘ILK’. BSD (BASS-STAR-DOS) is a DJs / producers duo from France.

Their beginning in the world of music goes back to 1998, when they started producing Hip-Hop and Trip-Hop developing their first works, own and for other artists. The influence of Fluke, Renegade Soundwave, Lionrock, Anthony Rother, and Jackal & Hyde, among others, led them to experiment slowly with Elektro-Breaks and House.

In 2008, the BSD project was consolidated, and after playing several times on various radio shows, they signed for iBreaks Records label. At the same time they won the remix contest by Rennie Pilgrem and his label, Thursday Club Recordings.

Since their first release, Intoxikated Muzik EP, they were very well received by audiences, DJs and critics, and their singles achieved many Top 1 in the Breaks sales charts on major stores. Finally, their meteoric rise was recognized in the 2010 edition of the Breakspoll Awards, where BSD were awarded as “Best Breakthrough Producer”.

As they would need a greater control over their music, BSD established their own label in late 2010, Mental Machine Muzik, where they released a debut album entitled “Malditos BASS-STAR-DOS!”

Having shaken the Breaks scene in just over a year, they decided in early 2011 to diversify their style and start producing House and Indie Dance, collaborating with other producers and vocalists.
