I Just had such a cracking weekend just gone at the wickerman festival, (with the LOT49 crew & many good friends who i really don't see enough of). 
  
  Following that, I came into work this morning feeling all inspired and up for it and managed to nailed a new DJ mix straight off, (i rarely do promo mixes..... I just don't have the patience, as i tend to do them live and often mess them up and get frustrated :) but today has been a good day and this one came out pretty well (IMHO) so feel free to download and share...... Pistolero Rec is freestyle electronic music label and party organization focused on eclectic and underground grooves, run by DJ Zmayo.

Mark Pember (AKA Meat Katie) has released three artist albums to date.

As a DJ, Mark has compiled and mixed compilations for Bedrock Breaks, Fabric Live (21) & ‘Sessions Vol 8.1' for Ministry of Sound.

Released Music on R&S, Kingsize, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, Mo Wax, Toolroom, Global Underground, SAW recordings, to name but a few.

Remixed such artists as James Zabiela, D-Nox & Beckers, Deep Dish, Lee Coombs, Stephane K, Phil Kieran, U.N.K.L.E 

He has run (as a label manager/A+R & recording artist) the highly influential LOT49 & Whole 9 Yards (W9Y) imprints.

In June 2013 Mark started a Podcast series ‘Lowering The Tone’ which in 2016 morphed into a Progressive Techno Label.

He now records exclusively for Lowering The Tone and is currently working on his fourth artist album, he still hosts Lowering The Tone podcast & also co-hosts ‘Setting The Tone’ (Podcast) with Ben Coda.
