TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ NOT OPERATED

Since 2007, Berlin-based artist Not Operated ( formerly Erta Ale, aka DJ Fresh ) has been a prolific force in the techno scene. He has released a wide range of music under various aliases on his own labels, Solenoid Records and S-Limited, as well as on respected labels like Twirl, Exploited, The Hindie Corporation ( Bogotá ) and Bullfinch, among others.
He has brought his sound to renowned venues such as About Blank, OXI, and Renate in Berlin; AND Club and Modular in South Africa; Radion and Church in Amsterdam; Micro in Sofia to name just a few. He has also appeared frequently on influential radio platforms including HÖR Radio, Red Light Radio ( Amsterdam ) and Rinse FM.
With his "Not Operated" project, he emphasises DAWless live techno performances, relying on an "everything from scratch" philosophy. This approach drives the raw energy and spontaneity that define his exhilarating live shows, where unpredictability and adrenaline take center stage.

Tresor, Renate, Razzmatazz, About Blank, Glazart, and Laut have felt his presence: sets built with relentless drive, weaving intricate layers through carefully selected tracks and real-time manipulation. ARGIE is an Amsterdam based musician, fueled by his love and passion for electronic music.
Since 2013, he has been releasing music across various labels such as Diffuse Reality, Blackline Recordings, Sensum Digital and more, characterized by its enigmatic quality and deep percussive rhythms.
In 2019 he created SUBEQ music, a record label with the vision of helping new artists evolve and shape their sound. In 2022 he established his residency with YPNOTIKA, sharing his music as part of an underground community movement.
His performances are live and hybrid, layering deep grooves with percussive rhythms and large soundscapes, to create a mysterious club night vibe. During his live performances he is driven by the crowd's energy, giving him a diverse and creative sound.
Argie delivers a music experience to share collectively, where people can feel free and dance with their body, mind and soul.
