Indian import Shredder has grabbed our attention. Making his way up in the Melbourne scene, Shredder is respectfully dropping absolute heaters along the way.

This Soundcast impresses. A true journey through many different styles of bush techno, from the deep and elated, to the hefty heartstoppers that just make you want to throw down in some dust. His creative mixing goes beyond the ol' intro/outro pattern, while his ear find surprising sparks in beloved tracks.

You can tell Shredder has a soul attachment to this music, inspired by many years as a passionate dancefloor astronaut.

Yep, the music never stops! Today, I bring you a track that actually made it to the dancefloor and rocked a few crowds around the world—my remix of SBK’s Drop In.

This one has a weird story. Somehow, I got my hands on a remix pack for this track and kept it buried on my hard drive for years. Then, when I started making music, I suddenly remembered I had it. Made in 2015, back when I was still green AF, but honestly? It held up pretty well, and even today, it still kicks!

It never got released, so... errr, 10 years later—here it is!

Today, I bring you another 2015 track that never got released: the underrated "Message Beyond The Tumba." This is the only track from my own stash that I played at Boom Festival, and yeah, it's not perfect—but I still love it.

When I was a kid, back when the internet was still in its infancy, I used to listen to psychophonies and get my mind blown by all the weird paranormal stuff we couldn't debunk. So I took one of those famous cases and turned it into a pretty gnarly track.

Time for a quick detour to 2017—because why not? Today, I bring you one of those choons I absolutely loved back in the day: Cyberpunk Abstractions and the Biopolitics of Urban Survival. Yeah, I know... I had a thing for ridiculously long titles. It was all fun and games until I hit 100+ productions—so yeah, I’ve been adapting to a new paradigm.

Oh man, I was super proud of this one. Back then, I was deep into symphonic elements, and this piece really took that to the next level. IMHO, one of my most underrated works. But once you put something out there, you can’t control how it’s received. The key? Don’t get attached. Just keep creating and moving forward.

Played at various festivals in Mexico and beyond, this one shines at night. And the mastering? Impeccable. It holds up surprisingly well, and now it’s here—just for you!

Anyer Quantum - Cyberpunk Abstractions and the Biopolitics of Urban Survival

Aloha amigos! Guess who's back?

Today, I bring you a track that’s bittersweet to talk about—Unlimited Midnight of the Soul. Part of my first album, released five years ago, this one sounds like it came straight out of 1999—not exactly what I was aiming for when it dropped in 2020.

I busted my ass for nine months to finish this album, only for the label to force me into a contract they didn’t even respect. After watching it sell like hotcakes, they refused to pay me a cent in royalties. To make things worse, I was forced to use their "mastering engineer," who drained the life out of the music. Every track ended up sounding worse than stuff I made in 2015—a massive step backward.

That said, I still love the bold ideas I explored here. This album meant a lot to me, but the mastering wrecked all that hard work, it feels like the high end is weak, and the volume is just not there. If there’s a lesson in all this, it’s one I want to share:

Producers, if your track sounds like crap after mastering (and you know it’s not on you), then the engineer is doing a terrible job. Don’t settle for subpar quality, or you’ll be pissed eternally. Work with real professionals—people who enhance your vision, not kill it. A great master—and of course, a solid mix—will make your music last.

For me, this release felt like a setback, because I know it could sound much better.

Sorry for the rant, but I figured you’d appreciate a slice of sincerity. Making music is a wild ride, and frustrations are real—especially when dealing with people who only want to exploit your work. Sadly, there are too many crooks in this industry who will sweet-talk you, take your music, and abuse your enthusiasm. This isn’t an isolated case—it’s a real problem that needs to be addressed.

I know—it seems like I never stop finding music buried in my hard drive, huh? Today, I bring you an unreleased gem from 2016—ye o’lde Napalm in the Morning!

This one was way harder than anything else at the time, so much so that it felt completely out of place. Nobody wanted to release it. But honestly? I think it works, in those days I managed to play it in a few parties and people really had fun. The mastering still holds up surprisingly well, though my mix wasn’t exactly on point. It wasn’t perfect, and I can definitely hear how simple my chord progressions were back then. But hey—I got better after 11 years of doing this.

This one ended up as a bonus track on one of my compilations, meaning it was only available if you bought the whole thing (yeah… not my choice). Because of that, it never really got the attention it deserved—super underrated!

I played this one at festivals all over the world, and it was pretty mind-blowing to see how much the dancefloors loved it. So, I figured it was time to bring it back from the land of the dead—all for your listening pleasure. Mastering still holds up pretty damn well, IMHO!

This one took time—not just to write, but to refine every detail in the mixdown. After 10 years of making music, I always wondered why my sound never quite hit the mark I was chasing. It took me a while to get my shit together, but once I realized that both my skills and my studio needed an upgrade, everything changed.

And I’m not gonna lie—when all the new toys arrived, I had a total mental breakdown. I wanted to quit making music. I couldn’t believe how far off the target I actually was. But instead of giving up, I swallowed my pride and re-learned everything from scratch—gain staging, transient shaping, stereo imaging, harmonic balance—you name it. I went deep into EQing with intent, dialing in compression for tone, not just control, and making sure every layer sat right in the mix instead of fighting for space.

The Final Puzzle (Super Morbid Twist) is an updated version of a track that was originally more than I could chew—Morbid Twist (hence the Super in the title). Back then, I struggled to make it sound as punchy, clean, and groovy as I envisioned. Now, thanks to last year’s studio upgrades, I finally had the tools to nail the mix—and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

It’s like a veil has been lifted—I can finally hear every detail and dial it in properly. Before, I was fighting against my own gear, trying to achieve something it just wasn’t capable of delivering. Now? Everything clicks.

It took months to fully adapt to my new monitors and environment—I made a ton of tracks in the process just to learn how to trust my ears again. And let’s just say, I must have checked this one in the car a hundred times.

But once DJ Pena heard it and chose to release it, I knew I could finally trust my new tools. That moment sealed it for me—I had leveled up.

Anyer Quantum - Heretic

No rest for the wicked, they say! Today, I’m excited to share a track that, while raw as hell, still holds a lot of meaning for me—The Nightmare Has to Have More NRG.

Made sometime around 2017, this was one of my early explorations into downtempo. And yeah… the mix? Not exactly perfect. Pretty harsh, actually. I kept tackling this challenge over the next few years because, back then, I really struggled with overly bright mixes. My solution a few years later? Just cut the high end! It took me a few more years to realize that maybe—just maybe—the real problem was using substandard studio monitors.

The melody? Straight-up inspired by Laura Palmer’s Theme (yeah, I totally copied it!). By this point, I was more focused on beefing up my harmonic composition skills, so the mix wasn’t my top priority.

Unfortunately, this track was one of the casualties of a hard drive crash—all project files gone forever. The only thing that survived? The pre-master. So I figured—why not share it with you all?

Anyer Quantum - The Nightmare Has to Have NRG (Running Out of Gravity)

Another week, another track. Today, I bring you a special remix I made for Flembaz - Illegal Arts, released on Digital Diamonds—probably around 2018 (or something like that 😆).

And this one? Super DUPER raw. Back then, using my "trusty" Yamaha HS7s, I didn’t realize just how hot the high end was—but listening now, yeah, this is exactly what I meant about overdoing it.

I remember this was also when I finally started experimenting with compression and distortion—and man, it took me years to actually understand what the hell I was doing.  At this point, I was Just cranking knobs and hoping for the best.

Definitely rough around the edges, but still, this remix ended up helping me shape one of my most unexpectedly popular tracks ever: Moonlight Flowers Blossom in Casket Hills.

I even got to play this one at Freedom Festival, and to my surprise, people really loved it! So I figured—it’s time to bring it back and share it with you all today.

Anyer Quantum - Illegal Arts (Remix)

Oops—got a little delayed this time, but I promise it’s for a good reason. I’ve been deep in the studio, working on a bunch of new music that (IMHO) is sounding pretty damn great.

If you’ve never heard Moonlight Flowers Blossom in Casket Hills, well… better late than never! Released sometime around 2020 or 2021 on Digital Diamonds (don’t ask me to check right now 😅), this track came out during a huge shift in my life.

It was right when my wife and I had just gotten together, and we moved to this magical spot in Tepoztlán that we called Casket Hills—a house perched on a cliff, with a tree growing in the middle of the balcony and a bedroom that looked like a parish chapel. I’ve never really been the romantic type, but I felt I had to honor our love somehow—and this choon was born.

Production-wise, it was definitely a step up from Illegal Arts. Still, I was working mostly on headphones, while trying to get used to the acoustics of the new place using my Hs7. It wasn’t perfect, but I gave it my all—and somehow, it became one of my most-played tracks ever, which still surprises me to this day.

So yeah, figured it was about time to share it here with you all.

- This year was different...

I finally got my shot at closing The Space Cowboys!
Last man standing at 7 am on the Sunday at AfrikaBurn.

Anyer Quantum from Puebla, México; a Devotee of underground sounds, intelligent sequences, and one of the most committed DJ/Producer in his country.

Addicted to the cultural values of the vanguard shapes in Electronic Dance Music, Anyer is a completely integrated DJ; capable of mixing an incredible -WIDE- range of sounds; blending them together perfectly inside his unique sonic palette.
Always exploring new ideas, he is an extreme and passionate follower of hard-to-swallow artistic expressions.

In 2011, his first leap onto the scene was made by winning the Digital Diamonds DJ mix Contest which gave him the opportunity to become A&R for Horns And Hoofs Entertainment. Through Horns and Hoofs he Released his 1st VA as "The Best of Horns and Hoofs" in 2012.

2013 was a very busy year, first, we saw the release of The 1st Great Atlas of the Underground Cartography, Later in 2013, Psychedelic Techno Vol. 1 was released in Ektoplazm and also released the 2nd part of the Great Atlas Of The Underground Cartography appeared in this world. Anyer was Promoted to Manager of the Channel of Trance by Fnoob Radio Family, AND also became a label DJ in Sourcecode Transmissions, the mighty Label of Zen Mechanics.

In 2014 he joins forces with Cosmic Conspiracy Records.

2015 was a slower year for Anyer, as he began to create music under his pseudonym “Shaolin Shuffle.” But he did find time to release the final chapter of the Great Atlas of the Underground Cartography and his first EP was also unleashed at Ektoplazm with the support of Blind Arc, the label of Flembaz.

2016 was a fantastic year;  The 3rd Chapter of the Psychedelic Techno VA was Released on Ektoplazm and he had the unique (and unexpected) opportunity to perform at the legendary and life-changing Boom Festival in Portugal. Probably the most important dancefloor in his entire career, allowing him to finally make reality his wildest dream of presenting his music to the best crowd on the planet.

in 2017 Anyer Releases Various of his Tracks on Different Labels like Electric Power Pole, Oddsine, Blind Arc, and Horns and Hoofs, where he also releases a new Serie of Compilations named Posthumanist Rebel Tools, he also got promoted as a DJ of Boshke Beats. He remained fairly active on the Mexican dancefloors.

2019 was the busiest of years. Visiting Panama for the second time (Tribal Gathering) and traveling to the old continent for his 1st European Tour playing in Romania (Waha Festival) Hungary (Ozora Festival) and Portugal (Freedom Festival & ZNA Gathering)

By the end of the summer, Anyer Stoped working with Horns and Hoofs and Boshke Beats, moving to greener pastures.

By 2020 the Pandemic arrived and while the world sited still, Anyer Released his 1st Album on DMT Records, receiving a great response from the psychedelic techno scene. 

2021 remained closed for everybody,  but Anyer released new music in Digital Diamonds, Music4Aliens, Padang Records, and Jaira Records.

2022 was the year when the pandemic finally was lifted, and the busiest yet in terms of releases, with a brand new EP on Flow Records + Featuring his music for the first time on Frisson Records, while also consistently releasing fresh new material in his first home: Digital Diamonds.

2023 continued to be a very busy year with new releases, and, in 2024, Anyer joined forces and became an official DJ of Techgnosis Records in Mexico.
