Self-meditation is an important aspect of IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy which had a profound impact on my life. 

Self is our internal energy, known as a source or soul. Self is in every one of us. It can't be damaged or broken. It's the source of our compassion, courage, curiosity, and connectedness. It has healing potential in all the parts of our psyche.

When we access more Self within us we can hear and connect with ourselves and with others. We are more grounded so to speak. 

Some time ago I stumbled upon this meditation by Darshan Stevens and as an experiment I put on a techno beat. After a year of this experiment, I believe it's about time to share this tune with you.

Self Meditation (Original Mix)

A techno meditation is a mix I make of a techno classic with a meditation track. Different variations of techno, some hard, some soft, meet different kinds of meditation. 
I find that mindfulness and techno both bring awareness to the sensations in the body.

This particular meditation is a guide to deep breathing. I invite you to sit, stand, dance, while listening.

This meditation is made in collaboration with mindfulness expert Linda Naini, who greatly contributed to this research in general.
