Ekko follows with his signature sound design and a straightforward peaktime influenced techno anthem. Hans Pech is also known for his melody driven productions and dj sets. On this EP he delivers a trance influenced smily maker. Lenn Reich closes as known. Continuing this year with two new artists joining the LAPS family: Trip Advisor and Noah Shah. Trip Advisor began his DJ career in 2018, emerging from the rave scene around Hannover. Over time, he has developed a unique style that fuses Melodic Techno with Peak-Time elements. His talent for storytelling through harmonic progressions and driving beats is unmistakable. With “Anomaly,” he delivers an atmospheric, energetic, and deeply immersive track. Noah Shah, a DJ and producer from southern Germany, specializes in Melodic, Afro, and Peak-Time Techno. Following in his father’s footsteps, he debuted on Magic Island Deep in 2017, where he now serves as A&R. Over the years, he has gained recognition through platforms like Sunshine Radio’s Mixmission, Brillux Beats, and A State of Trance (ASOT). Noah’s remix of “Anomaly” offers a slower, more emotional and progressive take, leaning into Afro-House influences. The result is a creative reinterpretation that complements the energy of the original. Two distinct versions of “Anomaly,” both captivating and beautiful in their own way, showcasing the diverse talents of these rising artists.

With "Just Rave", Mainz-based DJ and producer Lu:cas delivers a high-energy techno EP designed for peak-time moments. Known for his dynamic fusion of modern techno, psy elements, and minimal influences, his sound is built for big stages and powerful dancefloor experiences. Having played renowned venues like Tanzhaus West, Palazzo, and Alte Portland, and sharing the stage with artists like Heerhorst, Extrawelt, and Rafael Cerato, Lu:cas continues to establish himself as a force in the scene. The EP kicks off with "Shiva", a dark and groovy peak-time track featuring hypnotic psytrance-inspired vocals and an unexpected breakbeat twist that adds tension and movement. The title track, "Just Rave", embodies the raw energy of the modern techno sound, delivering relentless drive and electrifying momentum—perfect for igniting any dancefloor. "Invasion" follows a similar path, pushing deeper into the darkness with acid-infused elements and a pounding, relentless groove. Techno is colourful.

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.

Mind Chemistry is the new duo project of Ekko and Hans Pech and stands for a unique sound that combines different techno subgenres and influences to create something completely new. The DJ / producer duo stands for a unique sound that combines the best of both artists' sound worlds.

The two have been DJing in clubs since 2017 and were introduced to each other in 2020 at Gleis 44, where they are still resident DJs today. It was in 2021 when the two of them first played a set together and immediately noticed the synergy of their sound.

In 2022, they founded the underground label LAPS Recordings together with two other DJs and soon after,  they released their first EP together. After a lot of positive feedback and successful gigs all over Germany, the two finally decided to officially start a duo.

With a broad spectrum from Melodic Techno to Peak-Time to Hardtechno and Trance, they stand out in every genre and send their listeners on an emotional rollercoaster ride. The sound can best be described as melodic, driving and emotional and is characterized by both being incredibly diverse while still harmonizing perfectly with each other.
