This song kind of describes a state of being inebriated enough to talk about how you feel or other tough things to talk about. When I say "is you actually high" and everything after that part it's kind of a metaphor (i think metaphor is the right word) for when ppl talk about like if you really wanted something you would be going hard for it, but if you complain about it you're being weak. "if you cough you a bitch" even though if you're working hard you kind of have a right to complain imo if you're smoking then ain't nothing wrong with coughing.

I don't sing or play guitar, so I let the music speak for me.
With one funny hand and a spaceship of knobs, I summon rolling basslines, dreamy vocals, and dark, sensual often hypnotic vibes.
Mostly techno — but not only. I play sounds shaped by rhythm, emotion and contrast. 
Based in the Overberg, South Africa but my spaceship can take me anywhere

Zenlike Creature was initially set up as a side-project, born out of a love of the psychedelic music scene.

It could be said that this project is almost 30 years in the making since that wonderful summer of 93 and that first listen of the Ozric Tentacles 'Live Underslunky' album - it certainly opened more than just eyes! 

Since then it's been a continual music adventure hunting down bands and artists of similar style and genre. Whilst not always fruitful, there is a selection of bands/artists who have helped shape and influence Zenlike Creature and this work would not have happened without them: Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Shpongle, Steve Hillage, Eat Static, Hallucinogen, Pink Floyd, and Hawkwind. 

The bands/artists above have taken us on some fantastic musical journeys and adventures and Zenlike Creature hopes to take you on some similar journeys too.
