But not all my trancy songs can have "trance" in their name so I left with "Galore". I hope it will make some old scholl trance lovers happy.

German DJ & Producer Frank Dueffel  got in touch with electronic sounds at a young age, these kind of sounds always got under his skin and it wasn’t long until that passion inspired him to become a DJ in year of 1999.
Since then he played several gigs alongside well known DJs like Heatbeat, Maarten de Jong, Madwave, Dennis Sheperd, tyDi, Ron van den Beuken and Lissat & Voltaxx on events like Street Parade & Nature One. His DJ sets take you on a journey featuring a wide spectrum of electronic dance music, a unique mixture of trance, progressive, breaks and techno, always energetically driven and touching the underground sound.
In 2009 he released his first singles & remixes and since then he’s been improving his productions skills and increasing his reputation as producer, having already signed his work to labels such as Paul Van Dyk’s Vandit Records, Outburst Records, Discover Rec., Komplex Sounds (KSX), Phoenix Records and High Contrast Recordings including collaborations with Binary Finary, Madwave, Curtis Young and TEKNO and remixes for artists like Binary Finary, Jordan Suckley, Madwave, Damian Wasse and Sergey Nevone.
Over the years his productions appeared in several Compilations like Goodgreef Future Trance, Tunnel Trance Force, High Contrast Recordings presents Dennis Sheperd and several Street Parade Compilations and also earned support from international superstar artists like Paul Van Dyk, Mark Sherry, Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Jordan Suckley, Alex M.O.R.P.H. among many others.
He certainly won’t be stopping anytime soon and with the love and dedication he has towards musical production and dj’ing, as well as several new projects lined up for the following times, you can certainly expect great things from Frank Dueffel.

Even as a child, my parents and I sang children's songs together before going to sleep and played the mandolin and harmonica.
I discovered my love of music very early on, initially classical music and classical pop music, then later metal and punk, and my musical spectrum constantly expanded.
It all started with a speed-controlled cassette recorder.
I produced mixtapes for various people in my circle of friends at the time.
In 1994, I started playing music once a month in a youth club with rave and trance CDs, which people liked very much and motivated me to continue.

I started buying vinyl at Hardwax in 1996. At that time, my genres were rave, trance and, above all, classic techno.
In the beginning, I also used normal turntables without pitch range.
Later, we bought replica DJ turntables and mixers. My friends and I practiced diligently at home and DJed for ourselves.
Once again in the record store, I came across the Goatrance genre by chance. 
Unfortunately, I didn't know what it was called at the time, which made it difficult to find the right music. Naturally, I searched very hard for vinyl in this genre.
More or less by chance, I found what I was looking for. My first album was from TIP Records, the album is called Phosphorescent, these records are very close to my heart. I still enjoy listening to these songs today!

I continued to collect vinyl for many years. In 2005 I was invited by a psy crew called Goapunxx to play at one of their events.
From then on we went our musical way together, mostly at free parties and freeteks. For more than 25 years now, I've been the resident DJ of the festival and event series under my DJ name Ogrim[izer] at Gaggalacka and Zappelkiste. Later, since about 2017, I also officially DJ at the Dresden club SektorEvolution.
My absolute favorite genres are techno, psy-techno, deep techno, tech house and acid techno as well as progressive trance, psytrance, full-on, twilight, forest and darkpsy.

As there was later often confusion as to what genres I was playing at the countless parties, I then adopted the alias "Motoric*Cortex"² under which I exclusively play techno and genre-related music.

Musically, ZENGI is based on driving beats paired with catchy melodies and alternating grooves. Cross-genre of progressive house, trance, tech-trance, techno, or dark techno. As a producer, he already has releases on the labels FF Recordings, Isida Recordings, Future Sound of Egypt Clandestine (FSOE), Drehmoment Recordings and Sehnebel Recordings. A new Release is confirmed and on the way.

I hope I can make at least a few people happy with my take on techno. Sometimes its melodic, sometimes a bit trancy, some may call it progressive or deep house. All I know is, I was trying to make something that I like. I hope you like it too.
