Yax is a techno DJ from Adelaide, Australia, with over a decade behind the decks. His sound is rooted in the deep, groovy, hypnotic strain of ‘90s and early ‘00s techno, sharpened with a contemporary edge.

Influenced by artists like DVS1, Donato Dozzy, and Jeff Mills, his style is built on raw tension and rolling energy - a feeling that translates the same way on a packed dancefloor as it does through his mixes and podcasts online.

In 2021, he launched Yax Invites a podcast dedicated to showcasing underground techno talent from around the world. Now surpassing 200 episodes, the series laid the foundation for him to begin promoting his own events: starting with an outdoor rave in 2023, followed by a string of techno nights called Paranoia at Sugar Nightclub.
