Despite some exciting releases from recognisable names in the pipeline, we still aim to introduce you to the future frontrunners of the scene through our continuing series of free downloads, with Kaala acting as the drum and bass alias of UK garage producer Kishan. 

Antidote moves like a freight train, with a twisted, growling bassline that propels you forward with alarming pace from the get-go. This track takes the driving momentum of early Virus-era techstep and neuro tunes, yet splices it with a crisper, somewhat more forward-thinking production quality. It’s a huge diversion from the glimmering 2-step under his Kishan alias, yet further proves the production skills and musical palette of the promising new producer.

Often seen on the South West free party scene - He has also supported artists like Akov, Neonlight, Xtrah, Kursa, Seppa, DJ Hybrid, Stivs, Katch Pyro, Serial Killaz, Selecta J-Man, Volatile Cycle, Dr Cryptic & Dr Oscillator to name but a few.

As time goes on people are starting to pay some serious attention to his mixing of High energy Drum & Bass, sprinkled with jungle flavored switch ups, that leave the mind boggling over what will come next!

Since 2015, SINE have been establishing themselves across London as a purveyor of quality drum and bass nights, putting on parties at venues such as Fabric, E1, Fire & Lightbox and many more. Teaming up with the likes of Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings and ProgRAM, the nights became a go-to for underground drum and bass rinse-outs in the capital, with a close-knit family feel and focus on vibes over everything else.

Over the last year, SINE have been on a journey, expanding the public’s perception of what they can offer to the scene. The beginning of 2020 saw the official launch of SINE Audio, the label arm to the SINE moniker, aiming to transfer the same quality-over-quantity ethos over from their club nights to the label’s output. 

Their sound shifts between the deeper, club-ready end of the spectrum, more experimental efforts, and smooth liquid vibes. SINE have been steadily building their arsenal for when clubs return to the fold, and are ready to fuse their original events expertise with the new label.

Cybergroove started his digital journey into the sounds of electronic music in the 1980's after his first viewing of the movie, Break dance.

Having little access to electronic music from a young age, he would watch Break dance repeatedly, just to jam out to the tracks on the soundtrack.

As he grew older, his search for EDM led him through theearly sounds of the electronic music scene; Acid House, Hardcore, and Jungle, they all laid down a groove he could get into.

After attending Pandemonium @ Mr B's in Willenhall, UK - he took the dive and purchased his first set of decks. Djing in the midlands, he's played alongside Ratty, Tango, Fallout, Phantasy & Digital.

Cybergroove eventually moved into a spot at Therapy Sessions in London, but at present, he's part of the Unified Beatz family and looking to bring the deep and hard sounds of jungle to your ears.
