I revisited "I Miss You" with a pop/R&B style in mind and wanted to capture the yearning of losing someone in your life. I also wanted to mimic the upper register of high tenors like The Weeknd, Usher, Ne-Yo, and Michael Jackson. This song was originally written the summer before my senior year in high school. The premise for "I Miss You" reflected a time where I experienced loss of a high school friend, a breakup/graduation of a girlfriend, my best friend moving out of state, and wrapping my feelings around everything else a 17-year-old experiences.

I’ve always been a writer in various forms, but I’ve recently returned to writing lyrics and constructing songs. I enjoy tinkering with stems and tracks in GarageBand (yep, still rocking it) and exploring various facets of AI.
