This track is about changes and transformations. It starts with a serene bamboo flute in a meditative state, and then the band kicks in and goes through tempo changes and increasingly more intense phases, until the original theme returns at the end and slows it all down.   Cover art by Don Scott.

Thunder Stag! The one where we got a little curious about tempo changes and kinda made it a whole thing.

We've switched things up a bit with this release, too. We've moved away from the monthly release schedule, but in turn, we're putting out more (and hopefully better!) content for each release. Hoping that it'll work out well! ;)

Remember This (instrumental demo)

The inspiration for this track weirdly struck us during a mishap at work, when we got in some parts from an Italian supplier which had badly cut threads and needed reworking. It was a bit of a mix of annoyance and bemusement that gave us the idea to "respond" to the situation with an entire song.

Quite fittingly, from there it turned into this beautifully eccentric little piece!

And no, we don't actually speak Italian. Google translate gets some credit as a writing assistant for this tune! ;p

It's Captain Casual here, an indie music artist blending a variety of styles and genres to bring you something new and interesting with every release! Expect the unexpected and abandon all genre conventions, ye who enter here!

We're also openly plural. A tulpamancy system of two, consisting of headmates Michael and Amalia. So we're kinda sorta a duet! :p

We're based in a small home studio in central Germany. Aside from making tunes, we work a 9-5, 'cause we gotta eat, and music won't pay for that. At least not for the time being? Well, we'll keep making it, either way. :)

When we're not doing any of the above, we usually do yoga, meditate, practice hypnosis, and read roughly 175.3 novels per hour, most of them either Agatha Christie or Warhammer 40k. Yes.
