This mashup combines two compositions from prominent figures within the demoscene: Neil Voss' "Martist" and Klaus Lunde's "A Kind Gesture".

Mr. Lunde, also known by the pseudonym "Xerxes", is the co-founder of the Norwegian electronic music collective Sonus.

Mr. Voss is an American multidisciplinary artist best known for contributing the acclaimed soundtracks to a few Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance titles, most notably "Tetrisphere".

Tetrisphere 2: The Rise of Xerxes (Neil Voss' "Martist" vs. Klaus Lunde's "A Kind Gesture")

In 2023, the comedian/musician/YouTube star Daniel Thrasher released a video called "How Rap Sounds to Non-English Speakers" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdOtR2A5agc ), which I thought would be simply marvelous in a mashup. The more I listened to its nonsense words and infectious rhythms, the more ideas I got for this unconventional, experimental, and almost unworldly soundscape.
