Paul is a singer-songwriter whose early first album and singles with partner George Bowen garnered favorable Billboard reviews and substantial airplay and led to their being chosen by Clive Davis for advanced songwriting training with Arista Records head of publishing, Billy Meschel.  Paul's songs have also been published by Elton John's Rocket Records and Randy Wood's company, Ranwood.  In addition to his work with Arlen Roth and Alex Salzman, Paul has recorded with Jim Keltner, Cactus Jim Soldi, New Zealand's Ritchie Pickett, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, and Glenn Miller band trumpet master Johnny Best, among others.
